Champagne and caviar wishes on a Redhorse budget. For the price, they could have at least included a balcony to soak in that panoramic view. Thanks for sharing Rod.🌅🌴😁🌊👍🤩
LOL. Not may places with balconies here Chris.
And plus, everyone's opinion but the markets doesn't matter. We may think it's too expensive but if the market responds then that was the exact right price.
Love most of your videos really informative. U stay healthy and safe
😍😍😍
Thanks Rowena. Take care.
Rod, that apartment was even desirable looking during the bad weather from the typhoon, very nice, thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it David. Nice place and area.
Thank u bro for shering this video.. I see it was very expensive price 25k - 27k pesos monthly.
Thanks fareed. These are much larger units than is what is often available also.
@@AmazingPhilippines1 im looking for same this condo but down price between 9k - 15k pesos for my friend he like coming to philippines last this month or june
that is a really nice condo with that swimming pool and gym very nice parking space that's kind of expensive to me. but that restaurant looks amazing I really have to go back to Cebu sometime
Thanks for watching Jeff.
25k is within reason, in my opinion.
Nice.
With what is listed as average monthly salary, I don’t know how the locals can afford it
@@user-jq1oi6ur2x Bear in mind that not everyone in Cebu is in a state of abject poverty. There's a good portion of this society that is solid middle to upper class that is doing extremely well. The majority of the buyers here at this developments are Filipinos. That is my .02 worth of observation as a foreigner living here in Cebu.
@@chrislaveen543 in your opinion, what is a middle class salary there?
@@user-jq1oi6ur2x I don't have a good read on what the income levels here. I just know by "eyes on the ground" observation , most of the buyers at these fancy digs here in Cebu are locals with deep pockets driving expensive cars. Very likely business owners and investors.
@@chrislaveen543 thanks for your input!
been to the hotel as a guest.....both in cebu and davao......amazing property. safe, quiet, etc. need a bike to get to mango for the action.
Thanks M N.
Thank you Rod for sharing this video. I think , the rent is very reasonable considering, you are in a very nice location and the place has pretty much everything ( amenities ). Take care.
I agree Jade. Nice unit and area.
I miss the philllllllllllllllllllllllll. tnx for the videos and stay safe and souond :)
Thanks bb and take care.
great presentation.
Thank you kindly Bill.
You should also be able to plug-in Lan wire cables from your computer if they are using a a good standard router. Don't know which way would have faster speeds without testing !
Good point James.
Marco Polo is a nice location up on a hill. 25K (or 27K with parking space) seems like a good price in general for a 1BR condo there.
Totally agree Tim.
25k? Geesus..not for a dog box.
Amazing! Unfortunately I don't know how to automatically do a dollar/ peso conversion yet !
LOL! Divide pesos by the rate, about 50 at this time James. Multiply dollars by 50 to get pesos. $10 x 50 (exchange rate)= 500 pesos. 1000 pesos is about $20.
Thanks for showcasing yet another interesting unit, Rod. Though the development is in a very nice setting with views galore, it seems that there are no other related amenities or commercial establishments around or near it where one could just step out and go shopping, eat out, etc. like in CBP and CITP.
Thanks Raul. There are 2 Robinson's malls on that traffic circle with many restaurants, grocery, hardware, and other stores and services. The Crowne Regency and Summit Hotels right next door have restaurants also. Mango Square is a couple of blocks away so there are options.
@@AmazingPhilippines1 But Marco Polo is up on the boondocks in Lahug though. You probably meant to post this reply on the Ultima unit video. Thanks just the same. 😎
Rod, several fellow vlogers have been doing quite a few videos on the Mactan Newtown area recently and there are many deals to be had. The units are new, spacious and reasonably priced. It seems to be a very up and coming area. Far from the congestion and rat race of Cebu City, yet with many of the amenities. It would be an area I'd definitely be interested in living in.
I believe this poster already did one long time ago about Mactan Newtown.
Thanks Joe. I have been over there several times and done videos Joe.
Rod this place seems a little expensive for what you get compared to a lot of the others you have shown
There might be a bit of room to negotiate but I am not sure boogieman.
Too much IMO...but thanks for the video...enjoyed seeing the rentals. I walked by there before about 5 years ago...their buffet used to be amazing though the price was quite high.
Thanks for sharing Johnny.
..........Pretty nice place.....they just better be "typhoon proof".....!!
It is very rare that a powerful typhoon makes it all the way across the eastern islands and hits Cebu City Lonnie. I stayed up late a couple of time waiting for the predicted "storm" and it was really nothing more than a "normal" rain and a little wind.....but these units are built for a 8.2 earthquake I am told.
Sir. Thank you for the videos you produce. I understand most people are looking for low cost places to live, however, I would like to request a video featuring places within the $2,000 to $3,000 USD per month range. I have never seen a video like that on any of the Philippines vlogs. Thank you if you can produce that and also if you cannot.
Thanks. I have done a few of them. Here is a link to Park Point next of Ayala. Also checkout videos for Alcoves at Ayala.
@@AmazingPhilippines1 Thank you.
You sound just so sweet!
Hi Rod, you mentioned to a subscriber there may be room to negotiate , think there is especially in these times of uncertainty, as another ex pat has negotiated down on a condo over in Mactan in the last month, enjoy your videos , you give a good perspective of what is on offer to the punters , our bubble going well so far re N Z and our Ozzie cousins , cross fingers !
Thanks Eric. I think they had 2 serious inquires here already.
My wife, myself, step daughter and a couple of sister in laws stayed here for a couple of nights... beautiful hotel! The A/C in the room was a little lacking, but that was the only thing I found at this hotel to be subpar... just wasn't cool enough for me... had more central air with thermostat vs single room A/C units. Other than that, a beautiful hotel...
Thanks for sharing!
Not bad! Thanks 👍
Thank you too!
Window air con is a big negative, uses more energy then a split type other then that not bad. Also keep in mind you can make offer
I am surprised how many places still use window AC Billy.
Marco polo company cheat the owners of one tower condominium hard.
All which bought a condominium with a view over cebu, don't know, the owner build later an other tower directly in the front of the old tower and the owner haven't more a view over cebu.
That's so unfair! The greed of the big company destroy dreams of the condominiums owner. So sad!
But good job you show us this project. Even though they had only the cheap window tyoe aircon in the condominiums 🤣
Nice Unit and seems well built compared to mine in Angeles….11 years old and need refurbishment due to poor workmanship or materials….but here the attraction is the Bars and Ladies….i do not go to those Bars….but I live in a 7 floor Condo on the 4th….very Noisy Area…and congested and polluted…yet my Chiropractor just moved to Cebu to service his Office there. He reported back that the Pollution was worse in Cebu so I will not follow him there….I will be looking for a Gentleman’s Club Condo….no Kids or Families allowed….the Kids mob our Pool daily….most do not live here….so I never use our nice Pool…but I feel I have found the best in this Area…it’s amusing and has personality…I miss the Ocean… but that Wind in this video…is like the near constant wind here…it is not normal….been a visitor to PI for more than 45 years….was in Cebu in 1980…but the Wind will get the Philippines eventually…..rarely is it calm….very strong winds daily…..300mph Typhoons coming with Climate Collapse….Humans do not grasp the danger of Motor Vehicles….the concept of the 15 minute City…I have always lived in self restraint….unnecessary Travel will be restricted and Depopulation I’d coming…our Activities destroy quality of Life…the Environment and Climate…fools fail to open their Eyes and Ignorance is no Excuse.
Rod I don’t know if your aware but condo owners in Marco Polo condos haven’t got there titles yet. This is a big negative and something buyers should be aware of.
Thanks Billy. I had not heard that.
Nice job Rod...Do you think you will ever do a livestream?
Thanks Marc. I haven't spent much time thinking about that.
it doesn't look like your lifestyle Rod? it seems like an enclave apart from the goings on in the city. would you be happy to live here? I mean really... I'm interested to know what you think personally. I try imagine what it would be like if I were you, living in Cebu since I find am somewhat similar type guy to you. Maybe this is the interest of many of your viewers.
You are correct Kevin. I prefer to be in the middle of the "culture" and within walking distance
Absolutely love the place. But no balcony, which is a deal breaker for me. I'm a smoker and I don't smoke indoors at all, ever. A balcony is a must have thing for me. Otherwise it's a perfect place.
I like balconies also Chris.
I think 20,000 pesos is a reasonable fair price, so paying additional 25% more it depends i suppose if you need to be in this location.
Thanks Takashi.
Hey man! Have been watching your videos. Seriously helps. I’m currently looking for a 2 BR for less than 6M. Any recommendations?
I think JR has some good deals. You can contact him at email: jrcocarealestate@gmail.com
Rob great video, apt was all good except needs split aircon
Please tell us the present estimate of time when vaccinated westerner will be able to visit PH without fear of spending time in a covid camp there.
With all of the new "variants" and issues with vaccines possibly not working on many of them, it is anyone's guess about travel.
Have you seen/used induction stovetop cookers yet? We love ours. That stovetop in the video is so old school....lol
I have had several induction units Ralph and I do like them. Some work much better than others in keeping a steady temp.
@@AmazingPhilippines1 I dunno. Somehow, I can't help think that it would be tough for me to work up an appetite for the food that I'm cooking...knowing the EMF radiation is also cooking me at the same time. LOL! 😂
tnx for the video. how is life quality these days in the Phil Rod?
curious. tnx
Thanks bb. Life goes on here.
Thank you brother for your videos. Can you do a tour for a 2 bedroom or 3 bedroom 🤔 tour ? Also, what is the difference between the price from buying it or owning it ?
Thanks Savid. Contact the agent about details on buying units.

Seems like the Philippines prices are usually based on about a 5 to 7% return. At 20,000 pesos per month you would probably expect to pay about 4.8 million?
Very Nice! Do they have an attached grocery store or a mall within 2 kilometers?
I think the closest grocery store is at JY Square Mall at the bottom of the hill Reginald. I have walked that far but not good sidewalks, probably 2 km. Ayala mall is probably 5 km.
all these 1 bedroom condos look the same . Very simple layout ..who is the builder ? Avida ?
i'll take it!
Nice place Greg.
It would be great if you made the prices more prominent in these videos so we don't have to hunt for them.
Prices are usually negotiable Michael and will depend on the motivation of the owner and your ability to negotiate. Will they take 20k or 25k?
PLDT is the worst provider. Just awful service
I have had issues with them but have fiber now and no problems for 2 years Robert.
Did you get info on the electric bills? Thx 4 da share Rod
Depending on your usage of course Philip. I would guess between 2500 and 5000 pesos/month.
monthly rental price? at least apx? thanks
There is contact information in the video description for the owner of this unit. Here is another link which will give you some rental ranges at Marco Polo. www.dotproperty.com.ph/condo/379/marco-polo-residences
To me it seems overpriced and also is far away from the city center, so anything you need you will have to have transportation.
An alcohol ban is when you can't buy it at all. That's what we have now in Phnom Penh.
Thanks Gregory. They just extended the bar lockdowns in Cebu City so continue to put thousands out of work.
This one was nice, only missing split AC. Not a fan of the noisy wall mounted ones.
Mactan Newtown condos seem super nice but it's far from the main city. Where would be a more central place to stay for condo life?
There are 3 condos in IT Park and several in the Cebu Business Park where Ayala mall is located Gurkha.
I bet they play a certain pool game there.
Thanks Sam.
Hey Rod, How much is a 900 sq.ft apt. in Cebu ?
Here are a couple of units that come close to that size Barry. Of course the different developments and owners with set varying prices. ruclips.net/video/JNACNiAZldI/видео.html
How much is a 2 bedroom or 3 bedroom ?
How long to walk to main road to catch a jeepney?
The main road is just outside the main gate so not far from the condo up past the hotel.
about 5k to much even for cebu
Interested
Can I rent at least 3months
Thanks Carmelita. Contact the cell or email in the description.
