I see a lot of people crying about the A2.. But it was the only reason I bought the game.. Seeing the absolute destruction.. In no other game can I do that. Absolutely invigorating. I don't even play these types of games. I'm an FPS gamer.. my fix is the competitive nature of PVP... and no other game that I'm aware of offers such a wide range of destructive PvP scenarios than this game. I hope they continue to add more absolutely absurd weapons of destruction to this universe that players can use.
People don't understand they are playing an incomplete game. Pricing alone on the A2's ammo will keep it balanced in the future.

The use of music in the video is amazing, i particularly like when the sinister music kicked in once the A2 bombed near them. 51:55

I want to see more C2 self destructs!!!!!! Damn that was epic!
The thing that really impressive too is you see the multiple shock waves and distorsion effects of the differents ships in the area at the moment of explosion.
I love how that pitched down A2 was death incarnate.

This was an incredible masterpiece.. Especially when you play the game!
I watched this video, and man, those are some quality moments and plays right there, love this thing where every gameplay mechanic is available at all times, makes these creative moments they have to pull so much more satisfying, you don't need to do those things, like invading a landed enemy ship to engage self destruct, but you can, and that makes a lot of difference in the overall experience.
The moment this came out, the first thing I started doing was checking to see if you watched this yet.. Did not disappoint. I'd buy SC if I had anything better than a 1660..
Tbh I run Star Citizen with a 1070 GTX, trick of it is SSD + More RAM + decent processor

I have a 1660 Ti and it runs fine. After i upgrade to 32gb of ram im gonna have the smoothest experience in like 700 hours
This is why I love ground combat in JT, you get to see the situation change so rapidly.

I always dream that DCS might one day hase some arma style gameplay as well and Air and Ground units working together even better. Even tho they have combined arms where you can lase thingswith groundvehicles.

I have the same problem. I go to record and get crap. I stop recording and just go do something stupid and the most amazing stuff happens. Just have to hit record every time you are in the game so you get the amazing stuff
Going off Fingers idea, what if Mongrel Squad did an op/event against these guys and both sides recorded and someone did a supercut gameplay-story in similar fashion to this?

I'll prob use this video a lot. people always ask why, why did they make the trains real they could cheat it, why this the hard way, why that the hard way, it makes it take to long. Why, This IS why. doing it they way they are doing it is why he could jump on top of that train, how they are building the game is why this whole video happened out of nowhere. no mission scrip no nothing. just a source of money and a game engine that sure is glitchy but its also very open.
i can understand why they arent moving faster on development though, the engine is being built on the fly because it doesnt exist. there is no game in existence that has what sc has and no loading screens.

But I disagree with you that it's an issue of PVE VS PVP.
You were able to have such great times in old school PVE games too, the key is TEAMWORK and what you mentioned, DANGER. Danger is easier to implement into PVP I think but the bottom line is modern games play it way too safe, which is why games like Tarkov have blown up.
This is what Planetside 2 could have become.
In some ways its even better, in other ways SC will far surpass it.
I wish I had these skills, but most likely I'd be on the other side, getting murdered :D

Lou is a weird character. ED AI, no thanks they are worse than SC most the time and the performance in ED has been worse than SC for last 18 months. No idea what Lou plays but it can't be ED as that just awful. Scale I would give but its empty scale really tbh.
Completely agree. The scale comment had me questioning. SC is on a whole other level. Scale without depth is hollow. SC may not have as much scale, but the detail of what is there is unrivaled. And with every update they make, the scale expands.

As far as PvP and PvE, even RC gets annoyed visibly when he corrects peopel saying is a PvP game, because people feels it is PURELY a PvP game...which if thats what people are expect, I recommend cease all ship buying and know this game may not be for you. It will have some, the tech simply is not in yet to make it PvE and the current PvE missions are barely missions, the lore pretty much is non-existent as it stands now. It will have some occasional PvP...just like most MMOs out there, but it is faaaar from being only PvP. 10% of encounters outside of pure PvP zones like Jumptown will be PvP.
Man i wonder when the next disturbed album will hit with the lead singer wasting his time playing star citizen....
