I've never played Star Citizen but love BedBananas videos. I thought that was epic boarding the Hammerhead, but I couldn't be sure. Seeing your reaction confirmed it and makes me like the video even more. Thanks for reacting to it.
Bed Bananas SC stuff is so awesome. This video alone shows off why ship interiors are cool. You should do a seperate video why he's wrong. Not only what we have now but will have: repairing components, ship fires, losing gravity, and getting sucked out into space from a ship breaking open.
The crew was on twitch a few days ago filming stuff in Orison. I think BedBannas plays a lot more than the others because he knows a lot about bugs and workarounds, even some Easter eggs. At Orison BedBannas said that he wanted to go the "The Big OOF" Easter egg. You kind of have to be paying attention to SC to know about that Easter egg.

That tank part of falling reminds me of that one scene from the movie A team, where a team free fall on a tank, and I quote "flying with it" where they fall on a lake.
I need more content like this, man. I hope he's preparing a new one soon. The prison escape was good but this video was epic.
Geez, I didn't realise BB has 900k subs. Their last two vids have been SC, so they might play quite a bit.

This video was so good! It actually made me decide to start playing star citizen.
That was an awesome vid and showed the the magic of SC's VAG. I would really love to see a SC series that was in the spirit of an EvE series called 'Clear Skies'. It has action a lot of comedy but the actors totally played it off in character like a proper show.

Regarding interior, I think there should be more of it like when your ship gets hit and your quantum drive can get damaged if it hits in that particular region and then somewhat of fixing mechanism can be added, this will take the immersion especially for the crew to a whole new level

I suspect what Chris is programming now only relates to clothes or equipment for humanoids (or things like cloth that can be applied a bit more broadly). I dont think it relates to the environment as there are eventual differences and things tend to get complex. Thats just my own opinion and speculation.

That point about ED really annoys me too, followed that game since its announce I swear they had blueprints for the interiors and then nothing was said about them for so long just to be said theres nothing planned for them when odessy was announced, put me off the game hugely

I never played any modern space game, until I watched this very BedBananas video.
& then tried Star Citizen about 5 months ago, & I've since seen Elite Dangerous that actually has an actual galaxy worth or star systems, now has ship interiors.
I really want to know how this compares, because Elite Dangerous has so much to build on.
Where Star Citizen has focused on building the first person Imersion & has lacked in quantity, where Elite Dangerous now has a massive base to add to.
1 has a lot of variety to hold the player, the other has to have an interest in the base immersion, while the other now, has only to target that immersive experience & can open the player up to much, much more.
I really want to know how the 2 compare in 2022.
It really seems like Star bCitizen chose 1 of the hardest ways, that seems really hard to expand the galaxy on.
And Elite Dangerous chose almost the easiest ways to build a good base & easily expand the experience in multiple ways, while sacrificing the immersive aspect that grabbed so many of us.
I never bothered with either game, & finally got captivated by this perspective presented by Be Bananas.
BUUUUT, I only played it for maybe 2 months, & I haven't touched it since the 2021 wipe.
I finally got an Aegis Gladius like 2 weeks before that, & it was so cool, but I found no motivation whatsoever to even bother firing the game up again.
So yeah, curious how the 2 compare these days
I have plenty on my chan in regards to what I think on ED
Yeah, I think it was a bad move to try to make ED more like Star Citizen. It was different enough that both could scratch that space sim itch, with ED being more gameplay focused while SC had a more immersive and slower paced experience.
I bought the base ED game and thought it was a bit shallow, but it did some things better than SC. For instance, I think Supercruise is better than Quantum Travel (and faster), you did things faster (you do everything from your ship, no need to go to different terminals or talk to NPCs to buy/sell cargo or pick up missions).
But it could have added content without mirroring what SC was doing. They didn't need to add planets, ships interiors, etc. They could have focused on the contents for the different jobs - mining/trading, delivery, passager transport, piracy and bounty hunting. Basically expanding the base game and adding more in-depths missions, maybe multi-levelled ones (besides deliver this here, go there and kill this pirate, etc).
And, most of all, they didn't have to make every expansion a paid DLC
