Country he's all Country. My favorite song Chris Stapleton does is a song called Maggie's Song. It's about his daughter's. Ain't gonna give it away. It's a Great Song.

All of Chris's songs are good. I also like " Whiskey and you" He's a great song writer, simple lyrics, but they hit home and that voice, holy cow. Hits you right in the soul...Chris sang with a bluegrass band, Steel Drivers, and a rock/Blues band the Jompson Brothers (there is a live concert that will get you on you feet), all this before he became "famous" Hope you get to listen to some Steeldrivers in the future. "Can you run" Or "if it hadnt been for love" are two great ones by Steeldrivers.
I need to go down the rabbit whole with this man. I love him... but so far.. my fav is all going to be.. The National Anthem.. he just rocked it..I never thought in my lifetime anyone would come close to Whitney.. but he did.. in a totally different way but he absolutely killed it..

I was wrong shows off his guitar abilities but sometimes I cry will leave you in stunned silence from his vocal abilities or fire away for storytelling and hard hitting subject. Basically not a bad song to be found.

That is his band, with the addition of strings and piano for this performance. His wife Morgane usually sings backing vocals. The band members are J.T. Cure on bass, Derek Mixon on drums and Dave Cobb on acoustic guitar/plus also his producer.
