- I've played StarCraft for over 20 years.
In that time, I've had some epic and crazy games, let me tell you....
But this one takes the cake I think. Over an hour long Terran vs Terran with the wildest swings in who was winning and where the bases were.
Watch it. You won't be disappointed.

@Axel Ave Yeah I guess you could say Artosis won psychologically? But who knows, maybe the dude had to go to work or something. Not very satisfying, he definitely had the upper hand
If the replay was made avail we would see what happened at the end, the other guys economy...
@Axel Ave well going back and looking at the map throughout the game, the most reasonable conclusion was that it was 1 base vs 1.5 base, vulture goliath vs tank bc, and thats a huge edge for artosis.the base at 11 oclock was being mined from since 46 min in the video(so definitely mined out). and the only base left for the opp was the mineral only where artosis caught a bunch of scvs (which we could assume were the last big group of scv's the opp had considering what was left to be mined from). so opp had a worse army comp, less scvs and they both had only 1 base to mine from. we can also assume the opponent didnt have a big bank or after the first doom drop, he couldve quickly remaxed (relatively speaking) and doom dropped again to finish off artosis. So essentially instead of going for the desperate attack to try and win, or stalling until artosis widdled him down more, he just gg'ed
all the above imo. lol

You cannot spot the blinks as you would normally spot them at 120 frames per second. But sadly RUclips caps their videos at 30 fps so blinks get lost in translation :(

I am a new StarCraft player, I have been a fan of Blizzard games my entire life, but have no just been diving into StarCraft for real. Theres so much history and amazing matches!

You may get frustrated at start on bnet. Real noob almost doesnt exist there. Without counting that smurfs who wreck ranked. My apm is about 50 😕 hope someday increase it.

Artosis' love language is rage
There you go, you finally found a counter to Vulture vs Vulture. Move main base to adjacent corner and then diagonal corner. At the same time make sure you get into a winning position, then losing, winning, losing and repeat about 20 times at which point you will actually win. Works every time, 100% win rate with this strategy ;)
There is a perfect amount of pure rage from Artosis during this entire game. Very fun to watch man!

That vulture harassment at the end was amazing!
well …..gg. i really would have loved to see the replay though, to see what and how much his opponent had left at the end of the game.
yeah wonder why he never sent his army in before the end. i swear he still had most of his army left that wiped arty's 2nd-to-last push.
@@oldfrend it was only goliaths left.. against a lot of tanks. Also Artosis had the freshest bases I think
goliath vulture vs bc tank, 1 base vs 1 base and it both were mineral only (random gases around the map that could be mined were there), there was 0 chance that terran could ever bust artosis and a slow careful tank pushout would auto win the game for arty.
You fked up big by getting surrounded and goliath carpet bombed but he fked up by dropping his remaining forces in your main.
One of the craziest slugfests I have ever witnessed.
I saw this streamed live. I missed the first 10 or so minutes and was like 'after this game I'll go to sleep'. Could not bring myself shut it off even as it approached an hour. How the hell did you manage to survive and migrate to 2 other mains? I swore you were dead for sure, twice! Almost inspired me to switch to Terran... but I saw your remarks after the match and couldn't help but feel that I don't want to play those long matches. Again, awesome game.

Amazing game! You can make it explode by teaming with Falcon Paladin, sending him the replays and get credited. Just saying.

It would be nice to see a flow chart of different options people use to accomplish this work flow. I know you can bake like this in blender, but I don't know why people choose not to.

Definitely was not disappointed holy.
This is like what someone who just beat the original Terran campaign in single player THINKS multiplayer between high level Terran players is like, in the one battle that actually matches their imagination instead of being two vultures dropped behind the SCVs harassing them while someone pushes with a single bunker like a lot of games.

Is there a reason you never went past 0,2 on ground vehicle attack or armor? Was there a strategic element to that, or was there just too much stuff going on and it fell off the radar for you?

I think well played tvt is extremely fast paced and dynamic. It is only match up that positioning can mean so much more than supply, and simultaneously most macro intensive match up.
i dont play SC1, which is that building that artosis built a million of with a bunch of fans

amazing game, but please clarify one thing for me guys: Couldn't the Teal terran have finished Artosis off after what happened at 1:02:00 ?
He threw it all away @ 1:03:30 so the lead was gone after that.
@@henrytep8884 yes, but it seemed to me that he threw only like half his available forces at Artosis at that moment. Why not all? That's what I'm asking.
kurzackd I am guessing he had too few dropships left to transport the whole army, but didn't want to wait for more. He wanted to press the advantage while he could.

i think a mass tank push at the end after his army got wiped would've won it. other guy had mass goliaths and vultures which melt to unsieged tanks. artosis didn't need to build so many BCs.

57:10 does scan slowly reveal and then slowly recloak units? wtf (look at minimap)
i think the scan is a swirling pattern that moves outward and reveals new things until it reaches a maximum size. after a few seconds it reverses and swirls inward hiding things.

Why did the other player GG ??? I wasn't really paying attention but it seemed like he had like 30 goliaths still and at least 1 mining base. Maybe he knew it wasn't gonna beat the tanks and bcs?
About the vulture thing at the beginning. My man, don't feel bad, we're like 90 years old. We're just slower now. I used to make dragoons and zealots march son! Now it's just a few.

Well, a) he very likely didn’t know what Artosis had (artosis says himself that he had no idea his opponent had so much after losing his BCs) and potentially thought Artosis was in a stronger position than he was (artosis staying in the game after losing his BCs could contribute to this), and b) the mental aspect comes into play hugely in a 70 minute game. Playing such a high intensity game for that long really, really wears someone down, and can also impact their decision making. He may have just felt that he either couldn’t mentally handle playing any more, or couldn’t continue playing well enough to win. Plus, we have an incomplete picture of his position ourselves.
Anyway, the actual reason for him leaving is not something anyone knows but him. In the end, we just don’t know.
@@Psijax Artosis did get significant SCV kills with his vultures towards the end, but the opponent still had a very high goliath count. If this had been a tournament game it could have gone on even longer! Pretty insane overall.

Excuse me for being old but why spam the key board so much?
Keeps you warmed up and starting at the speed that you will eventually ramp up to. Since the game requires massive APM (actions per minute) its better to start moving a ton a the beginning even though there isn't much to do. It's also crucial to execute your build perfectly at the start because small mistakes there can have cascading effects on the rest of the game.
@@walkertxs13icu Thank you, i have played SC & SC2 for nearly 20 years now but not against people, my APM is usually 40! against the AI but its APM is often 450-500 and I beat it 80% of the time on Hardest setting. - Not Elite though, Hardest. I have good macro and ok strategy but no micro at all. 49 years old.

Happens all the time when they have to micro so fast. There was a pro player who tank shot his own CC expo to death, realized too late and just gg'ed.

i love you artosis... but i couldnt help but laugh. you say i just dont know what to do to be better but supply blocked. twice in 3 minutes. that kind of stuff adds up throughout a match. ill watch your games but im assuming its not HUGE mistakes ur making.. just many little ones that are adding up .

If there's anything trash it's blizzard games like World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, d3 and basically every upcoming blizzard game who are brainwashing current generations already 10+ years with terrible addictive mobile game systems and money funnels. I can't even fathom that it's the same company that once created Starcraft or warcraft 2/3.

This guy is good at multitasking to a degree but that is it. Does he know about Shift clicking. How many SCVs sit around doing nothing. A drop in the center of the map? This game could have been over a long time ago if he would have dropped his main. Battle cruisers were so late. He had a massive bank. Too defensive and too many turrets. What a waste.
