Big fan of Neil diamond more so because my father in law was his biggest fan. My father in law was my hero unfortunately he passed away 18 months ago so anytime I see reviews like this or hear him on the radio my heart breaks but in a good way. The only singer I have seen multiple times in person (4 times). This is from the movie The Jazz Singer. It was one of my mom's favorites so I had to love it. His song America is a must of his.

The movie is "The Jazz Singer" and it is fantastic! The entire soundtrack was written and performed by Neil, as was the sountrack to the movie "Jonathan Livingston Seagull." Neil is one of the finest singer/songwriters of the past 60 years and, in my opinion, the very best! I've loved his music since my pre-teen tears, and I'll be 65 in December, so I'm a huge fan! Some of my very favorites are I Am...I Said, Play Me, Hello Again, Stones, Soolaimon, and Brooklyn Roads. You can stay with this artist as long as you want to!! 💖💖💖

I also had the pleasure of seeing Neil Diamond in concert. It was at the now defunct Capitol Center in DC. We drove up and limos were lined up around the arena end to end. Had never seen anything like that before. He was the consummate showman, drawing you in and stringing you along the entire show. It was a great concert.
I also experienced Neil at the Capitol Center. He is my favorite singer/songwriter. Period.

The Jazz Singer is a 'must-see' movie! I must say Better Midler in The Rose was another great movie by an epic singer!
He's been around a long time, wrote some songs for the Monkees including 'I'm a Believer', 'Look Out, Here Comes Tomorrow' and 'A Little Bit Me, A Little Bit You' among others. He has a great voice, my mom loved it. Her and my dad's song was 'Hello Again' from the same album. I think 'Done Too Soon' may be the best thing he wrote but no one recommends that one, it's deep.

Neil Diamond (that's his real last name) is a great singer/songwriter and is affectionately known as the Jewish Elvis. He has many great, chart-topping songs, but my favorite song by him only made it to #38 on the charts but was played a lot on the radio, his gorgeous, deeply spiritual song "Be," which was written for a movie about a seagull, of all things, and is a soaring song. One day, perhaps a reactor (hopefully you) will react to this great song.

Sadly that movie was panned by just about everybody. From he being too old for the part and as far as casting in general. Personally I thought it was a great movie.
