Boy would that take a load off. I'm all about keeping what I have and fixing it or making it work. Can't afford to keep buying new stuff because they make everything's obsolete. It's gonna end up ruining me one day. Thanks for sharing this. Hopefully in 2 weeks my name gets drawn! God bless you, your family and farm!
Awesome, it seems as you enjoy and really promote farming and technology, I am a small farmer that uses ITC globes, so this really affected our operation
At the time I wrote the comment, 3 John Deere dealers had already seen your video ... but also 370 farmers! Maybe the reception at the John Deere dealership will be a a bit frostier in the future. But seriously: Cool presentation, also because of the informative drone footage!
I figured there had to be a way! I am running Ez steer with an AG25 antenna receiving WAAS on a Trimble 750 to plant with. Works real good for me! Thanks for the tip! I looked at a sprayer that needed a JD Globe. Dealer said $4,000 for the 3000 receiver......... noooooooo, not going to do that! This would be a great option!
Ever talked to AGRA-GPS about their CRG system? Looks like it would require a base station (EMLID) for the farm but definitely interesting, no subscriptions!
I’ve seen it but never talked to them about it. It’s a cool idea but for the little bit we pay for an rtk subscription that includes access to a network of base stations and the dealer supports them.
Spewing! I was hoping you would ship to Austraila!! Ive had 2 ITC, brought one SF 6000 in February, only had to wait a few weeks then. I’ve heard 12 months wait on one now
Hello how are you, an error occurred to me when loading the 3.73j soft on my ITC antenna (I'm about to add an extender) I got an error01 waiting timeout message. Now the antenna is not communicating via the CAN network. You know something about the subject. Thanks a lot
@@6thGenFarmer i read it from the right so maybe there was 3 zeros on it i need to spray weeds and it would be nice if I could go back and forth and just move over 40 feet and I think it would do that. It's not autostart but it has the lights across the bar to guide you straight ahead. Thanks for your help
John Deere has released an update providing stronger signals to the ITC globe since I released this video!
I cannot seem to find any info on this update. Where did you find it?

Carson is the best youtuber ever I support you buddy
Great video Carson! Super informative and a great way to let others know there are options for their older equipment.
Amazing video. Very helpful. Like you said...chisel plowing and or applications that aren't so sensitive, this would be great! Thanks.

Thanks for that information i hope your work can help other individuals out in the community
Love this kind of stuff! Well done!
Great video to let others know that’s there is other options. No matter what Mother Deere says.
You are really good at putting these videos together.
Thankyou!
Great info don’t need it but still cool. Not sure how they did it must be converting the data blocks to make it look like it’s updated receiver.

Really interesting video this would love a follow up with more detail

Sorry but it is just too big of an expense for my little RUclips channel… but I think if you order a module from Agra-gps they probably would!
AgraGPS has a distributor in Australia ;-)
Cool information.
Very cool of you.

Awesome
Could you put it in for a grain cart
Yeah I don’t see a reason why not! That will probably be what I do
Where can i get information on operating a starfire 300?
300 or 3000? Either way youtube or your local Deere dealership are good places to start

W O W , , such a nice thing to do !
Will this work with a brown box?
Yes
Would you put it in a sprayer?
I personally wouldn’t as spraying is something that accuracy can make a difference between some weeds being sprayed or not
Does this just work in the USA ? Or would it work in the uk aswell
Great question! I’d cal up Agra-gps and ask them!
@@6thGenFarmer I does work in Europe, however there is no WAAS correction there. Still very decent results, ruclips.net/video/P_HSi0mF8ig/видео.html
Bought one, doesn't work very well at all.
Do you have your itc updated to the latest firmware?
John deere fucking sucks, we used to run JD tractors, now we finally have no one left
