John Deere
RTK
Super excited to have you as a dealer!!!!! Woohooooo
12:05 was cool. Glad to see that worked out well for you.
We did think about a similar system with base station, but we have hills and dense forests, so we ditched the idea. Plus we don't have any tall building that would work, thanks to our yard is in the middle of our village and we have 5m(16.4 feet) height restrictions.
So this base station actually does not need to be very high. It just needs a clear view of the sky and a wifi connection. Mine is 22.5 feet in the air and it’s actually higher than it’s supposed to be
Congrats on becoming an Agra-GPS dealer! Yea! Canadian company. The fields are looking great. Yeah I was thinking about the calibration... do you align the CORS network and redo your lines next year or stick to John Deere RTK which is off?
Thank you, I haven’t really decided what I’m going to do for next year yet in terms of cors vs Deere
Bet if someone told you last year that you would be cultivating with the 8410 using autopath on a non deere receiver you would not have believed them😂
LOL your right. A year ago I didn't even know if autopath would work on the 8410t period, not even mentioning the agra gps receivers
What brand of finger weeders and mounts do you have on that cultivator? would you buy style again? thanks
We use kult-kress fingers weeders and really like them. Would buy again
Will Deere shut this down? It would've been nice to see the base station setup process
No I highly doubt it. Even if they do in about a week Agra-GPS will have a work Around
I just use our Starfire for straight line simple cuts. We never used rtk for our own equipment. Are there any sort of subscriptions for this GPS unit?
No subscriptions or activations. It does use data but such a little amount the data bill is pretty minor. We will probably be around $100
What is that song around 14 minutes?
it is (The lonely wild) - Right side of the road
Do you know about how much data it is using per hour on the SIM card?
if hooked up to a base station it is less than 1gb per month of running. With cors networks it varies
I tried it for about an hour on MN CORS and it used 3.5 MB, which with the refill rate on the SIM card should be like $0.07/hr. That is very inexpensive. Another question, which MN CORS mountpoint do you use? There was a whole list of them. I guessed on which one to use.
Why not buy a 7000 receiver and put SFRTK on it? $4350 for the receiver and then a yearly subscription seems to be better and cheaper
After 2 years of owning a SF RTK receiver I could buy a second Agra gps. Agra GPS is much cheaper a especially after a few years.
@@6thGenFarmer does it have similar repeatability? Think they advertise 4+ years or repeatability on the new SF RTK. And you don’t need base stations to worry about.
I am curious if Agra has repeatability
Yes, it is equivalent to JD RTK. @@bitcornfarmer6868
Yes, it is equivalent to JD RTK @@landonjamison1483
Is that system ready to work in Europe?
I believe if you buy the base station it will work anywhere! I would maybe double check with them first, but shouldn’t be an issue
@6thGenFarmer That would be great. Im running 6000 reciver and SFC3 signal is getting lost a lot. Plus is expensive
Yes, it works in Europe.. Agra GPS has an office in Germany!
What filters or soft ware you use to line out the tractor cultavator?
I guess I am a little confused on what you are asking. Can you re-word it?
You dye your hair
Nope
Say the name of the receiver faster so no one can understand you . Makes you sound smart, talk fast like a teenage girl shopping .
