To kick things off in Wisconsin, we head for the Southridge Mall on the south side of Milwaukee. Stick around, and you'll get to see the Northridge Mall soon enough. Развлечения
That BK in the food court is the most surprising part.
Funny thing is that BK closed due to failing its health inspection 😂
Hummm I go there a lot
I live near Southridge mall
Pretty nice mall, looks like they got lots of stores, nice video
This mall has a train
Yeah Boston store is still empty in the mall and the kohl’s is still empty but everything else is filled so it’s nice
I wish they would focus on filling the Kohl's space. It could be broken up into smaller stores.

Great video.
Good video. Thanks.
I look at Southridge and I see what Northridge could’ve been if it survived just a little while longer
It's sad it's just a overgrown shitbox. I'm sad the area turned it into nothingness
A bit of history for your question around 8:00; as you know, Southridge had an ill-fated sister mall, the infamous Northridge. Younkers occupied the space where Gimbels was until about 2000, when both of those stores were closed. To answer your question, the Younkers at Southridge looked a lot like the one at Northridge does today (albeit not a total mess.) The building that housed the Southridge Younkers was reconfigured. The lower floor had a Steve & Barry's, while a portion of the upper floor was split between Linens & Things and World Market. By 2011, all three of those chains had left, and Macy's purchased the space.
Good Video, however, you left out that Kohl's is closing too, they are moving to a smaller store. Simon plans to convert that too mall space apparently. Dillard's also is considering this store and the locations at Mayfair and Brookfield Square as locations to expand too.
I wasn't aware that Kohl's was on its way out. Hopefully Simon can figure out what to fill the space with, as I don't wanna pre-empt another dead mall.
My bet is they will just break it up into smaller stores.
Btw the disney store is closed now idk why tho
Love that funky P.
I love the design of the facade outside Boston Store. It looks classic.
That Boston Store looks so full. Isn't their last day August 31?
This was filmed on June 30. Chances are its gonna look much more sparse now.
Doomie Grunt I believe it. What would you compare it to? Sears? Penny's?
Don't visit the Northside of Milwaukee to see Northridge. You might not make it out. Southridge didn't get hit by the crack babies. Better yet, just stay out of Milwaukee. Southridge is in a cleaner area, mostly safe.
im following you
Could see all the similarities to Northridge, are the buildings both shaped the same too?
I believe they both have similar shapes with subtle variations.
From what I read now kohl’s is gone
Next Time your in Wisconsin Doomie, Please Visit East and West Towne Malls in My Hometown of Madison. Great Video!!!! F+L, Corey
Seems this mall is dying now
It got handed over to the lenders, basically a friendly foreclosure, towards the end of last year.
The baby boom wave is ebbing, so no surprise there.
I miss Boston and Sears, used to be my family go to stores every weekend, my parents barley at all step foot at the mall
Now, southridge is pretty much a dead mall now with all these 3rd party local stores that last like 2 months.
This mall is doing better now since Dick's and Round One replaced the fmr Sears. Way to go Southridge on finding a way to fill an empty space!
I wonder how Dick's is doing now since it switched its business model from sporting goods to political advocacy.
@@commentatron I doubt many people know about that. Nor will I think it will affect their business whatsoever.
Where is this mall?
The mall where i used to go looked like it was going to close then unexpectedly they opened all asian stores. Sears gone. Jcpenny gone. Macys gone. Sad.
I MISS SEARS!!! 😭
