Question: nfs is known to have brake to drift as its main driving style (microdrifting or whatever) what is the best way to drive i the crew 2? Would i let go of the gas or hold brake to initiate a drift?
For everyone wondering how he unloaded the race so fast: You don’t even have to play that much. I played maybe 4 hours a day and managed to complete it a few hours ago too!
The animation is what I don't like. It looks like a game for 7 year olds. Sorry but I ain't gonna buy it. It just seems too silly. Like WTF is the world being flipped? The cars are awesome, but the animation... Ugh. I'm gonna save my money on some other game instead.
Side note: after beating this game set the voices down to none and turn off subtitles because the characters when you replay the event or playing uncompleted ones still acts like you weren't the champion yet. I only turn voice back and subtitles on when there's new events.

Hold the push down button (i set it on numpad 5, on consoles it would be right analog down) it will make you go fast. Also set to bumpercam because the boat body blocks view
Yeah weird. At least the game is running well for you. I have to live with 30 FPS mode myself. Nobody knows what's the issue, but some people are affected by it, even those who have far stronger builds than I do. (Game freezes randomly, very frequent on 60 FPS mode).
While this was somewhat cringy, I'd rather do this race than a race against a freakin blimp. I would really have liked it if they bent the world the other way, so jumping from the ledge with a car to then continue an air race or something similar
childish? When you are racing in an arcade game you definitely want to have as much control as possible and you cant control the car in the air, so it is not too unreasonable. Also, have you played it with assists off? It has a way better feel when you drive

金城ソラ I've played the crew 1 and played the open beta of tc2 and the handling is improved yes , but no where near a game like nfs payback or forza horizon. I know fh is an simulator arcade but you know what i mean
it's the same kind of hate you see from GTSports guys on Forza vids and from Forza guys on GTSports vids, but with Forza Horizon and The Crew 2. As a Forza Horizon fan, I have to say that this game is kinda meh to me too, mainly because of the handling of the cars, but the map is so much bigger than Horizon 3's and probably Horizon 4's, so it still worth something, it's just not for me. As someone said elsewhere, these games are for different peoples, TC2 offers a lot of content for arcade players and a lot of freedom, while Forza will appeal to car enthusiasts by offering some kind of "car paradise" (and only cars). Guys comparing this game with GTSport or FM7 or any other "sim" racing game are just dumb tho.
They could have done a lot more ... I finished payback , the crew , and fh3 , payback's story just kept me interested non stop to finish it the same with the crew , fh3's story was a little bit lame but there is so much more content after that.The crew 2 is just disappointing...

You've probably already found it but there's an option under settings to set the volume for speaking/talking. I turn mine all the way down since I can't stand the voice acting in this game at all.

Yeah they had to use VOLUMETRIC(aka 3D) clouds because they added planes as a gameplay gimmick. Sadly they could NOT do with them like how *DriveClub* and Project Cars 1 {ON w.i.p. PC build only} could manage to do. FH3 uses 2D billboards for clouds that animate and it still looks damn good. As for the The Crew 2 clouds overall, they can look great sometimes before/after rain and out in the open in the desert areas.
