You left out how he was granted the right to be at the birth and Ashley immediately went to the hospital and demanded her doctor do a c-section so he could not be there. After she lost on the poisoning charges, she accused him of SA of their 2-year-old daughter. The authorities found no evidence of this either. If your husband was SA-ing your baby daughter would you then invite him to reconcile? Also, as a DV survivor, I would NEVER allow myself to be alone with him. I would have made sure my mother never left
My side. Also she keeps telling people he punched the family dog and knocked it out yet he explained they were arguing and he swung his arm as he was gesticulating and the dog jumped in between them and that’s how it got hit. I don’t think he was mentally healthy but he was also not the person she said. She was as crazy & angry as he was.

They tend to find each other and pair off quickly and then chaos and violence ensue. She told lie after lie after lie about him -and then she lied to him about wanting to reconcile, invited him to help her pack, and then sent her mother and child away to be alone with her “abuser” in her home after she accused him of abusing her, and SA-ing their child!! But the most significant lie was her describing him coming straight at her and lunging for her, so she shot him straight on and yet he was shot in the side and in the legs. He wasn’t coming at her at all. If anything he was turning away to yet again do her bidding to make her happy and she shot him before he knew what was happening. Dr. Grande also made it sound like it was DB’s fault that the ballet studio failed. The studio was her dream and her idea and he was trying to make it happen for her but she 100% bailed on him and left the whole mess in his lap. She got pregnant and seemed not to understand how awful morning sickness can be and so she decamped to mummy’s house and was sure he was poisoning her. 🙄🤯

She wasn't mediocre. She retired because of a tear. And her idea of a more inclusive ballet company is more than needed in the industry. Doug was the wrong man to start that with because he was a f cone. He was sued for borrowing funds he never returned in the past and had 0 business skills. Surely he did not deserve to die and murder is wrong unless of course you're murdering some terrorist out there, but this wasn't the case. Wish she had just disappeared and never told him where she went. Could have told him she lost the pregnancy and left the country.

That is according to Ashley, there is no evidence, no vet records. He explained in a deposition the dog jumped on him and scratched him and he pushed him by accident, like a reaction. @@nixm9093 He had certain issues, but looks like he looked for help and he had accountability of other stuff he did in the house. In the deposition he says what he did and what he didn’t. Way more accountable than Ashley. Another thing Ashley doesn’t mention is that in those moments when he got that angry, she was abusing Eva. She was harassing him to punish Eva for anything. In the Vanity Fair article some friend of hers commented she had a competition with Eva and commented to that friend he had to choose between Eva and her. When looked in context, is still wrong to hit a wall and stuff like that, but I’m sure many parents would agree that if something will take them to that limit is someone abusing their child. Nobody claims he was a saint, he didn’t claim it neither, but things didn’t happen like Ashley portrayed them.

I believe a woman marrying a man with a 30 yr age gap only after 13 days, was looking for a man to impregnate her but didn’t want the constraints of marriage. Once pregnant, she leaves her husband. She got what she needed. She keeps the baby’s father at a distance when he wanted to be with her. She didn’t even tell him the baby was born. Then he finds out she’s dating another man while still married. I don’t buy that he was that bad. Prior judges threw her abuse cases out due to not one scintilla of evidence. She wanted a baby, used a older man, and went about her business. That’s what I got out of watching the trial.

Ashley fires at an approaching Doug in fear who likely mocked her attempt at self preservation. He only turned after an intital shot(s) missed and Ashley fired shots in rapid enough succession that to her it wasn't clear what was happening. Doug more or less abandoned his daughter who was still grieving the loss of her mother over a woman he had only known for two weeks. By marrying her, his daughter lost being a beneficiary after his death. She talks about it in her TikToks. She and the baby are the real victims in this situation and Doug less so. Two toxic, selfish people carelessly wreaking destruction in the lives of their children. Both win the bad parent of the decade award.

Manslaughter is the very least she's guilty of. The minimal charge and the 30 years or so she might be getting eventually, will be the bare minimum. She should be thankful to the court and for the bizarre mercy that was shown. The evidence as outlaid in the video convinced me she, most likely, had some malicious intent and the circumstances of the whole case couldn't possibly justify using the firearm.
