    Nora, I take my soldering gun to open larger holes at the bottom/sides, Then I make a long loop of wire, "thread" the wick into it, and use the wire (as if it were a needle) to push/pull the wick through and up That way the wick is in full contact with the reservoir but not visible from the top. I prefer it that way to ensure that the bottom LECA spheres are the wetter ones, which facilitates both evaporation and wicking up. (I know you know all this. I'm just offering an alternative "strategy" for those who might find it easier. When we have such beefy, gorgeous, massive plants, we do what we have to do and how we can do it, don't we?)

    My plants are very intelligent, they dont want to trouble me... so they give leaf and lose 1. Finally they hav 1 only😂

      My Golden Ivy is in leca as are all my bigger plants. I do not have any plants in potting mix.
