Have you been hit with a ticket from a speed camera?

3 times in one weekend and there is no appeal-blind loop on line, no one answers their phones. So I’m changing my habits to avoid Chicago. I don’t think I’ll miss much. Sadly this is just another nail in Chicago’s coffin.

I don’t like speed cameras either. To call the fines regressive and targeting poor people is political theater.

I like it, these Marxist twits love to use the “negatively impacts the black and brown communities” bs line to guilt ignorant people into accepting/passing egregious legislation all the time. Why not throw their hypocrisy back at them.

The best minds in the country are working (funded by the Police, the municipalities) on "how to extract more taxes from citizens", it is rewarding, easy work, no competition from China or others... This phenomenon is inescapable.

Socioeconomic status, age, or ethnic-racial identity are not factors to how much pressure your foot puts on the accelerator pedal.
