Sir this is an Indian design mostly found in the southern part of India. This is a very common household item in south India, mainly in Tamilnadu region.

Thank you for your comments. I will try to do a more independent review in the future.

I don't think that's a Kora either as unlike kora, it begins to curve inwards much earlier. Also there aren't any historical examples of kora with khukuri handles that I've come across.
It almost always with tulwar handle.
To me, it seems closer to a Bill hook than either kora or khukuri. Probably someone experimenting.
Have you contacted SirKukri? He has been in the forefront of khukuri research for a long time. Perhaps he might have the answers.
The handle on the Tri Ang khola seems a bit large, and the spine seems quite beefy. But you're happy with it, and it's all that matters.
Some other Khukuris that I think you might find interesting are Superfast Khukuri from GGK, Mutiny from Kailash, and the Limbu Shaman Sirupate and M43 from Heritage knives.
