This is basically just the complete opposite of the original version, to me at least. Like the original had this intense sorta in your face “I’m here, and if you gotta problem let’s go a few rounds” whereas this one is not really in your face or even aggressive in any way but there’s still the feeling of “I’m here, and it doesn’t matter what you do to me, I’ll always be here” I think that’s a pretty apt description of the differences between the two versions, either way both are great

In the movie the song was more of a war cry, the characters making a stand and coming out as who they really are. But the way Tiffany sung it made me thing of the song as more of an internal monolog of someone who is afraid of being themselves out in public, who is trying to convince themselves that who thay are is OK and they don't have to be anything else.
