The truth about progress in art is that it's not linear. After painting two strong pieces, I felt like I could paint anything greatly! But each consecutive artwork will not always be better than the last, as I soon found out. Reframing my ideas of art progress is important to cultivating a healthy painting practice. I was inspired by Degas' ballerina paintings to create an impressionist ballerina painting myself! I also made some homemade holiday decorations for my studio. Enjoy this dreamy art vlog!
