Ha. I saw those bugs for sale at a local Daiei Mall. At first I was baffled as to why people would buy them... Now I have to talk myself out of buying them myself. It's kinda cool to watch them move stuff around. Lol 😍 Ya'lls curtains are awesome!

Your difficulty in eating your breakfast is a big one. When I get into Japan. One of the first things I will do is find a hashi shop. And I will buy a nice set of steel decorated ones. Maybe enameled with a nice case and carry them everywhere I go. So I never have to worry about such things.

Don't tell Eric you're trying to find out ways to make him turn into a frog, it's meant to go the other way around. How good/bad is being rice based compared to others like potatoes, pasta, beans? What nutrients do you get and what not? Never get rice fatigue even when eating it daily, that's probably the secret of rice. Some stuff you can only eat so many times.

+sature Yea, we agree, but I need to get a licence which is difficult and expensive, and then we need to buy a scooter and pay for parking! It's just a bit of trouble at the moment for us, unfortunately. -Eric
What makes me kinda annoyed, a pond stocked with healthy predators will eat all the mosquitos. Heck, even tadpoles of many frog/toad species eat them too. So a properly maintained pond won't have mosquitos. No need for draining.
It's backyard ponds that aren't looked after or bird baths, or junkyards, used tire disposal sites that spawn mosquitos.
Oh well, there's nothing that can be done, the city does what it wants to.
