"No Bullshit" I respect Mora even more now after that statement
it was more of a candid talk. rather than a corporate spiel
Kick ass knives, bad ass company & real life dude running the show
Me too. Great knives.
I don't think i could leave that store with only one bag of goodies.
Hue Janus I'm pretty sure I'd leave with maybe two or three of the cheapest ones... 💸
All of those moras are making me drool.
they actually use knife collectors drool as coolant for the grinding machine #funfact
"It's important to remember, robots never have any suggestions for improvement. We have to have smart employees thinking creatively."
I've always been a fan of the knives, now I'm a fan of the company. "No bullshit."
Thanks for this vid fellas.
+curtboroff you are very welcome!
What is the secret of Mora? Made in Sweden. Just like Swiss army knives are still made in Switzerland. Most other knife companies outsource to China or some other country. I'm pretty sure a lot of the really good Spydercos are made in the US as well. Says a lot about a company. Quality over maximizing profits in the short term. Great video. Thx DBK :)
The thing here is the steel has quality same with the plastic. Usually chinese products dont have that
Okay, okay okay. I like the robots. I don't blame them, plus it gives us all affordable knives to horde.
Erik Frost, KJ Erikksson, Carl Andersson, Broderna Johnsson, Erik Johnsson and FM Mattsson were all made in Mora, Sweden. A lot of knife history in Mora!
Interesting
I hope their next production knife will be a full tang knife with wooden handles ... after that i can die in peace. Amen
Yeah, a garberg with olive handle😎
@@J2I3H
Great idea.
@@J2I3H Olive does'nt grow in Sweden.. ;)
@@rilledulu they import
At some point, you owe it to yourself to get one of the original classic red birch wood handled, carbon steel models. It's about as 'no-BS' as it gets.
So you guys doing a coop with mora for a limited edition DBK knife? Bet that will be very cool!
buffeltje89 oh hell yes! I'll buy one or five!
An expected increase over 500.000 Moras this year? Well, DBK did a good job on that one I guess! hahahaha
Awwwl. The robot lovingly pats each companion on the head before shipping them to us. Thanks robot! I love you too.
I've been obsessed with Mora Knives since I bought my first one , the Cansbol .. what a knife ! No Bullshit ..
Wow that factory was impressive. I'm even more impressed after watching this video. The fact that they use quality materials, they value their employees and they are concerned for the environment. And, of course, no bullshit. I love how he acknowledged that the robots aren't the answer, creative employees are. I will have to get myself a Mora now.
Sounds like a wise old wizard narrating the tour.
I have the mora companion and it is just absolutely awesome. Great video guys
Your intro song fits you guys really perfectly: characteristically awkward in timing and feel, but all the while friendly, pleasant and happy
thank you Mark!
It makes me very happy to see Mora knives recognized. I grew up partly in Sweden and have owned several of their knives throughout my life (the red ones with the birch wood handles). They're fantastic value. When I was younger living there, it seemed like anyone over the age of 10 probably owned one. They're as Swedish as it gets - if you kept one in your desk drawer at the office, no one would bat an eye. People didn't baby them. They beat the daylights out of them and if they went dull, a lot of folks just pitched them and bought another (although the carbon steel will take a great edge, if you're willing to put in the effort).
Thanks a lot for showing us the Mora Factory! And especially for me it's nice to see our ABB - robots at work! ☺👍
Awesome! Thanks for giving us an inside look!
"Value for the money, no bullshit."
THAT is Mora.
Thanks for the vid guys. Almost spit water at "I have no bloody clue whats going on here"
So... It's the Nokia of knives
Parth Rastogi Nah, maybe an Iphone made out of the best materials
It's like an iPhone that's actually well made
more like the ericsson of knife nokias is Finnish and mora i swedish
Its the volvo of knives, not the best, but will work for a lifetime or 2 if you just grease it once
Lol but its true in a way
I've had a few Moras over the years, the stand outs were the less than $10 ones with SS that I put in tackle boxes or fishing vests so I always had a very capable cleaning knife, I'd say they were 100% EFFECTIVE.
Now I've stumbled onto the Garberg, WOW another Huge win for me, I buy them used online and they are GREAT value for the $$ for me, and the garberg is TOUGH. I have 2 SS ones, and am looking for a used Carbon version which I know will be GREAT as well. THANKS FOR MAKING GREAT KNIFES Mora!! Utah, USA
I just received my second mora knife and I love them more ever time I buy one, love the video!
Nice one, Thanks guys. Looking forward to their next line of knives. I'm sure its gonna be epic, taking into consideration the Garberg just opened up a whole different universe for Mora.
A DBK VIDEO ON A MONDAY!?!?! WHAT TYPE OF SORCERY IS THIS!?!?!
Zilla the sorcery of the gods that have bestowed amazement on us. Allowing us be happy twice this week.
Have only just come across your videos. Good humour is rare today, keep it up, enjoyed morakniv factory tour, Never owned a knife. Before but ordered a mora. Konsbool and then mora garberg, while watching bushcraft shows, I’m from Australia keep well
Lovely tour
I was there 5 days ago and it was closed. But then we went to the store where you guys were in mora and bought a few Knifes. ;)

One of the best videos you made so far awesome
Loving the videos so far
Meaningful and informative video. Love it!
No bullshit! You guys are flippin crazy !!! Keep up the great work !
+Marshal Breaux thanks a lot!
Thank you for that vid, I love Mora Knives and am really looking forward to whatever new they have in the works for next year.
I personally like 12c27, it's a incredibly tough SS that takes a lot of abuse and restores very easily like their carbon steel. Keep up the great vids love watching your channel.
"No Bullshit" LOL! Love the the channel lads, Thank you!
High quality and not bullshit, it's serious stuff - No Asian imports. Please stay this way, that's what makes Mora so great!
Another amaizing video from dutch bushcraft guys :D
What a real treat that must have been.
Respect! I'll stop drooling over the expensive knives and pick up a great quality one for the money. Value is their secret for sure!
Super om binnen te kijken! Leuk Maarten, dank!
Got into camping and bushcraft stuff recently via +rodster6. Then found this channel. Loving the zany episodes guys. Such a contrast to the early stuff which I also had a look at. This, however, is the first episode I truly ANTICIPATED following the announcement on the previous episode. Am loving all things skandi since I worked for AZ, and have also taken a great liking to the Finnish metal scene. GO MORA, eh? Very much enjoyed the film.
Yes, Finnish metal cuts deep!
To drop some names:
Insomnium
Amorphis
Swallow the Sun
Barren Earth
(Get high on metal that's even better than cpm3v)
Excellent video
Enjoyed watching your videos..
Love from a fellow bushcrafter UK London
+xyla aqsa thanks a lot
Great! Thanks for sharing. I own 3 so far. Next one will be the garberg
I just bought my mora classic knife this month and I love it!
Haha that propeller hat is awesome.
Thumb it up before viewing!
i know right
Cool process
I’m amazed how simple the heat treatment is for their carbon steel. Moderate temperature induction heating with water quench good grief. And it performs so well!
Love the video always cool to see a knife factory
Thanks for the 2 videos in one week!
Nice video guys! I own a few Mora's and love them! Tnx!
Good stuff! You just had to go there the day they made the pink knives...
Thanks for sharing - Martin
+NorwegianWoods hahah thanks a lot Martin!
They made completely pink 511 once as a limited edition, and I mean baby pink not the magenta that is on companion.
There is a pink limited edition every year for breast cancer awareness. It might be those being made.
I hade some pink Mora 511 but I sold them.
Thanks DBK!
Good stuff! No bullshitt! Pink. Lol
Great video !!
Just found your channel. Mora is great. You look like your enjoying life in the outdoors.
+Cherokee44 Oklahoma I am! Thanks a lot
Great episode, love yours vids ;)
very cool vid keep up the good work mora rocks
Mora = great knives 👍👍 Thanks for making this vid boys!!
Miki B and Martin, great tour of a great plant!!!!!! What surprised me was how the hell did anybody dislike this video of a tour of a great well known established knife company that has kept their process the same way and most people started off with their mora!!!! I must own at least 10 moras and all 4 of my kids have their own moras!! That's 14 !! 14 good knives for a great price!!! People who disliked this video seems to me that they don't know anything about knives and bushcraft!!!!!! Damn stupid people!!! Thanks for the great tour martin and keep it up!!!!!
+artymech46 thanks a lot!
It's not even Thursday! Awesome
Morakniv Bushcraft Black is an amazing knife for any price!!!
I was waiting for this :-)
It would have been nice seeing more of the shop and how it's works and a lot less rambling and goofing off. Thanks for sharing the mora shop with us.
+Stacy Cornett I wasn't allowed to film all details
Dutch Bushcraft Knives that's a bummer, but what I saw was really cool. Thanks.
C100!!!!! Great investigative work guys!!!!
Just wondering. Have you guys ever thought of doing a series on the histories of how many of the knife companies started? Some of the oldest companies have interesting histories. Plus your humor and creativity in the skits you come up with would be hella fun in telling some of the stories. Kinda like Drunk History for knives. :D
Going to go order my first Mora now as a result of this video.
rly interesting. ty guys
Great video!!!!!!👌👌👌✋
What have you got on your head, mate? Crazy Dutch man! Hahaha
Wow!! Sudden unexpected upload is unexpected!
Great video DBK! Greetings from Romania.
One of my cats was fascinated by the robot arms. She walked up in front of the TV and was staring transfixed. I wonder if one can get a grooming-robot arm.
The robot arm are swedich invention (!) - too!
great video
06:08 That is the truth right there: Mora knives are good value for the money, high quality and no bullshit. This tour was really interesting.
Wow this is an awesome video. "No bullshit"😂😂😂
Yeah boy all those moras
What knife steel has the best edge retention in the world? Also, how does the performance of the Enzo trapper in elmax (In terms of steel) compare to the performance of the mora garberg and cpm 3v? What is the cheapest Bark River knife? Does 12c27 have good edge retention?
The no bullshit statement I really like. Im gonna buy a few more of these knives now
746 thumb! Thanks again guys! Another great video! But now we'll need 2 vids per week! Yes!
3:38... Now that's mora like it! Dat hpy face :D
I will go there myself on Friday.
Which is possible as I am enjoying my holiday's in Sweden.
+emmo kaemingk awesome!
Cool. Not everyone can just see that at anytime.
You guys check out the MSK 1 yet?
I need to go to Sweden!!
Morakniv isn't just an amazing knife company they're an amazing company period. The price vs quality and performance ratio is off the charts. Most of the time you pay for the brand name, but you don't get that extra quality you're expecting. With Mora though you get more quality than the price would suggest, which is the reason why so many people love them. I don't know many companies that can actually do the same as Morakniv.
Hi love your channel!Would like to know what did you buy from mora shop during this visit?
I flinched when the shook hands. damn corona.
Great
Love it ! NO BULLSHIT! I am going to by another ! I like a straight answer!
You guys are really getting me into the idea of being outdoors and setting a camp, building a fire etc, but because ive never done this before would you have a recommendation on basic bushcraft starter kit or essential items for afew days i nthe wilderness??
keep being awesome and entertaining!
+water666 get yourself a Mora companion and a dc4 sharpening stone! You'll get a long way!
awesome thank you :) would you recommend any other gear for some camping? ive seen some of your budget gear reviews which looked good for what they were if im only going out rarely? TTTM copy tent, chinese firesteel etc? some form of tarp?
thanks again guys keep it up im still trauling my way through your back catalogue of videos :)
Yes finally!!!!!!!
Good video, I really enjoyed the factory tour! One question you should have asked: With all those robots how come the Garberg is so expensive????
Well do you have any recommendations?
SPECIAL EPISODE MMMMMM
Dang it, now I want to buy another Mora!
Luv ur vids
