You guys hit the nail on the head! I've never heard an orchestral take of this song that was so true to form! It's like you captured the essence of what makes the opening tune a good song and flawlessly converted into another medium. Bravo; a thousand times, bravo!

Sad how videos like this, of music of such an amazing Indie game like Cave Story only get a few thousand views, whereas videos of live performances of Undertale get millions. Honestly I feel Cave Story was a FAR better game than Undertale. Dont get me wrong, I enjoy Undertale, but not nearly as much as Cave Story
I'm just glad people are comparing both Cave Story and Undertale (not like which one is better, but rather how few similar or different things of both games are great, etc.) and this also let's Cave Story get known even more from the comparisons.
