Crispy air fried fish can certainly be accomplished. Today I will show you how to make homemade air fryer fish sticks that are crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside. I can not take credit for this recipe, though. But I came across it on a website and new it would be perfect for the air fryer. We will start off by making our breading and then will whip up a batter for our fish, which really helps the breading adhere to the fish. I went strictly by the recipe for this video and did not change anything. The air fried fish sticks turned out great following these directions. But next time, for some extra goodness, I'll be adding some garlic powder and cayenne for sure, or even a creole seasoning... oh yes!

These were so good! One thing I wanted to add is that if you’re dairy free or just don’t have Parmesan cheese on hand, you can replace it with Nutritional Yeast flakes. I made my own bread crumbs and then mixed in the yeast flakes with some seasoning. It was so tasty!

Pro tip..blend you Panko crumbs in a food processor..it becomes this amazingly fine crumb that crisp amazingly. It's smaller grain makes it really adhere beautiful to the fish.
