Devin old school paint stripper is "Dichloromethane" you can still buy it as just the chemical on ebay etc, it just cant be sold as a paint stripper for public use
@Devin Niemela . You can use aircraft remover brand paint stripper from any automotive store to remove powder coat. Doesnt work as well as the old stuff but still works really well. I use it all the time for powder coat. The old stuff you use was methylated and the new stuff is not.

Yep, and since he has said the turbo is from a Tommi 6.5 I'd be guessing this Evo has had an older Tommi 6.5 engine swapped into it... Definitely not the original motor

But people are telling me it could be a bad o2 sensor, fuel pump giving out, the fuel leaning out or a vacuum line ? The car is tuned on e85. Ima change the sensor and see if it goes away. Thats an evo 4-6 rocket cover its aluminum. So sand blasting shouldnt be a prob. Also can weld bungs instead of thread tapping if you going catch can setup.
Cerakote has a bake finish too Devin so you can get those things you coat back on faster you cook it at 500 degrees to cure it.
