    Beautiful watch. I personally love the Speedmaster 57 brand. I have the Speedmaster 57 Sedna Gold bezel with a black dial on a tan leather strap. It really makes a statement and it is also very comfortable to wear. Enjoy your timepiece. It is a perfect watch for any collection.

      Thanks for watching! Yeah, they have a great look. That’s a great looking watch too. I personally have to steer clear of any rose gold colors because it doesn’t look good on my skin tone 😩 Thank you, and wear yours in good health as well!

    Had no idea this one was endorsed by G.C and I don' really care.! I saw it on my local AD's site and thought it was beautiful! I've had the Speedmaster moon watch (1976 production year) for 41 years and it still runs. I want to add another one and this one fits well!

    Great video. Loved the watch so much, and I had to buy it. In blue also. I set out to buy the Moonwatch but far preferred the dimensions of this watch on my smaller than normal wrist.

      @@ΣτελιοςΒουγιουκαλακης That's fair. For me when I'm wearing it I just wind it each morning, but it does have 60 hours of power reserve so it'll go for 2 days easy in case you forget! :)

      @ΣτελιοςΒουγιουκαλακης Год назад

      @@watchgrok The only way to get rid the anxiousness of suddenly stop the watch , is to rewind it every morning no matter the sixty hour s power reserve (you can’t every day calculate the two days period)
      Then there must be easy crown winding mechanism , otherwise is painful
      I also have a VC manually winding watch but is extremely easy to wind
      Also got an omega speedmaster two counters watch automatic with date and I was ready to switch for the 57 considered the best for me but that manual mechanism made me step buck

      @@richardbertoso398 I absolutely love the watch. It feels great on the wrist and I think it looks amazing in outside. However, I love the chronograph complication so I actually have several speedmasters which I'll go through in upcoming unboxings... My collecting has outpaced my ability to make the videos 😅 If you have any specific questions about the watch, I'm happy to answer them! It really boils down to personal preference. I have one IWC, and I don't like Panerai at all due to the crown guard on most of their models. But some people love it, and you should buy and wear what you love. 😀

    • @watchgrok
      @watchgrok  Год назад +1

      Thanks for watching! And not at all! The movement inside is evolved from the 321 movement, so it has a lot of history. Also it is a reboot of the design that originally came out in 1957 so it is a nod to its heritage. Of course, it's not for everyone but I don't find it basic at all!

      @@abrahamlevi3556 that's similarly close to the non-watch enthusiasts who say things like, "BuT mY tWeNtY dOLLaR cAsiO iS mOrE aCcUrAtE tHaN yOuR tWeNtY tHouSanD dOllAr PaTeK pHilliPe". Your statement is completely devoid of relevance. We all know that quartz watches generally keep better time than mechanical watches, but we don't always buy these watches for their time-keeping accuracy. It's the same reason we might buy a $9,000 Omega with a Chronograph although there are several cheaper alternatives that may do a better job. We have many different reasons as to why we prefer some models that happen to be more expensive than cheaper brands that might do the same job more efficiently. Your argument is invalid to the general mass of watch collectors.

      I have been blessed to be able to purchase these pieces and definitely went on a speed run. I have been working for a while so I have gotten to a point where I was able to pick up these pieces. This pace is definitely not sustainable, but you could say I used this as an escape; or maybe I was having a midlife crisis (whole nother story) haha. But going through and collecting, I have realized what I really love and connect with and what I don't and will be more picky about what remains and gets added to my collection

    If thats your hand in the video (and maybe its just the angle) but I actually think that looks terrible on your wrist. Looks far too big for you and looks cheap, badly fitting, and not elegant. Maybe a 38 speedmaster master variant would look better.
