Beautiful watch. I personally love the Speedmaster 57 brand. I have the Speedmaster 57 Sedna Gold bezel with a black dial on a tan leather strap. It really makes a statement and it is also very comfortable to wear. Enjoy your timepiece. It is a perfect watch for any collection.
Thanks for watching! Yeah, they have a great look. That’s a great looking watch too. I personally have to steer clear of any rose gold colors because it doesn’t look good on my skin tone 😩 Thank you, and wear yours in good health as well!
Had no idea this one was endorsed by G.C and I don' really care.! I saw it on my local AD's site and thought it was beautiful! I've had the Speedmaster moon watch (1976 production year) for 41 years and it still runs. I want to add another one and this one fits well!
Watch is beautiful. I’m working on getting my first omega and was leaning towards the speedmaster professional however the 57 is catching my eye big time. Tough decision
Great video. Loved the watch so much, and I had to buy it. In blue also. I set out to buy the Moonwatch but far preferred the dimensions of this watch on my smaller than normal wrist. On the +7 seconds a day you mentioned, I have mine 2 months now and only gains 2 seconds a day average.
Thank you! Congrats on picking this up and wear it in good health! That's a good data point to have, maybe mine is just a bit anxious :p I will keep an eye on it.
@@ΣτελιοςΒουγιουκαλακης That's fair. For me when I'm wearing it I just wind it each morning, but it does have 60 hours of power reserve so it'll go for 2 days easy in case you forget! :)

Every single metas omega I have owned over the past couple of years runs fast. They are good out of the box for a couple weeks then lose their accuracy.
My daily driver SMP 300 from 2020 is all over the place. Remember, spec is 0-+5. It has, at times, run -3, sometimes 0, and currently +2. Will go for a few days, then change. Really weird. That being said, the '57 is going to be my next Omega purchase.
I have been blessed to be able to purchase these pieces and definitely went on a speed run. I have been working for a while so I have gotten to a point where I was able to pick up these pieces. This pace is definitely not sustainable, but you could say I used this as an escape; or maybe I was having a midlife crisis (whole nother story) haha. But going through and collecting, I have realized what I really love and connect with and what I don't and will be more picky about what remains and gets added to my collection
Well, if Omega thinks that we are going to run out and buy this watch because we see George Clooney wearing it, then that’s the reason number one to not buy this watch. We may be stupid, but not that stupid.
Haha, well I do like the speedmaster ‘57 but talking to the rep it became super in demand after Clooney advertised it. However, it is a fantastic piece on its own.
Who CARES what George Clooney wears? He wore a Speedy in The American on a black strap. Big deal. Then a gain, I’m not a chrono fan. It’s a useless complication to 99% of those who own one. Useless
If thats your hand in the video (and maybe its just the angle) but I actually think that looks terrible on your wrist. Looks far too big for you and looks cheap, badly fitting, and not elegant. Maybe a 38 speedmaster master variant would look better.
I couldn’t disagree more. Watch looks incredible. Always subjective until it’s on your actual wrist. Never seen anyone stare at another man’s wrist and critique the size of their watch unless it was utterly ridiculous.

It actually rubbed out!

A little late but congrats.
My favourite is the burgundy but they’re all stunning

Would you say that without the domed sapphire, the thickness is around 12mm?
That would be a fair guess

The only negative is the manual wind mechanism . It should be automatic
Yeah, that’s something I went back and forth on, but because it’s manual it’s a little thinner so I don’t mind 😛
