@@SGT1911 My sako and ruger were converted with the plates from dovetail to Weaver. I think I'd like to switch to sako and Leupold rings for the ruger

8 inch gong. I can get 225-240 at best before I loseine of sight ot works

Good video. I have a Sako 85 in 30-06 that I got in late 2022. Disappointed as it does not eject cases. It does eject Federal Prem with nickel plated brass but anything else it hits the bottom of the scope and falls back in the action without fail. This is because the ejector blade is at the 6 o’clock position.
I also noticed you have higher rings on your rifle because you have a large scope. I only have a 3-9x40 Leupold on mine and I can’t see using high rings as it defeats the purpose of having an anchor point cheek weld and eye alignment.
all you have to do is move the scope slightly forward on same ring and BANG problem solved. I have done it myself several times.

@@SGT1911 Cool on the Bear pics 😎👍 Yeah me and Moma and 3 grand baby's are having a good time today just got back from the Smokeys I love it down there seen me a 930 for 350 layed that baby away payed half on that baby and going to pay the other half on it Friday can't wait to get it it's got a compensator on it different but I'm hoping it helps me and Moma shoot better and softer for Moma I figured it would be better on her than a pump action 590 hoping any away but can't to see them bear picks Hooah 😁👍

Beautiful rifle! Only negative I see, it's Blued and not stainless for AK.
Yes and no, It is stainless with a black coat, not really blue. I have used it twice in Alaska so far. Thus far the only issue i have found is on the sling mounts. Some rust there. Complete disassemble and clean.is NECESSARY. Thanks for watching
Brother, I just bought a Sako 85 classic in 300 win mag. Have you had any problems with the cartridge ejection?
NO, never. My favorite rifles. I have had problems with 300 win mag ejection on other rifles. the case is so long it hits the scope knob on the right. It has happen to me many times. Higher mounts or simply moving scope forward will fix it. Let me know. Thanks for watching
Did you shoot it again,my 338 will not shoot consistent beyond 200-300 yards,looking at 3" groups
Ammo? Mine is spot on. Several hunts. Try some others. Mine shoots Federal premium the best. Sako ammo is terrible in the rifle
I do handloads,really looking for good loads past 200-300 yards,ammo is very expensive here
@heinvanzyl9064 I load as well. And it is pricey stuff. Though I have not loaded any for this rifle. I don't shoot it much, and I see my trips west slowing down. Pick one and try. If you have a factory load that works start there and duplicate bullets and start working it out.
