Skáld, stylized as SKÁLD, is a French neofolk band, formed in 2018. Their music is distinguished by the use of ancient instruments mixed with the singing techniques of the skalds in Old Norse. The group is very influenced by the Vikings television series, but also by Scandinavian culture and Norse mythology.
Absolutley love this song. And I really enjoy their covers of Seven Nation Army and Riders on the Storm. They literally do not have a bad song.

I love this song so much. The funny thing is she mostly recites the runic alphabet. So it’s basically Norse abc’s. Which is awesome.
i like it Tauri !!! cam back from the biggest Spring Medieval Market in Germany there was music like that allaround alot of Viking Groups where also there Knights in full Armor like my future son in law :) my Daughter was in a long Dress with Fur on her Shoulders

Deeply reccomend Wardruna. Einar selvik the vocalist behind it made the music for Vikings TV show, its sung in New norwegian and Norse, Hes also the former Guitarist from the black metal band Gorgoroth
You ought to check out the song Ulvetime by the group Songleikr, which is a side project of members of the group Heilung, who, if you haven't heard yet, is also worth checking out. They're both very similar to Skald.

Unfortunately I'm going to have to let you down and tell you that it is not me in my intro, the link is in my bio for whose channel did sing and make it for me.
Vikings share the same culture and Religion like all other germanian trübes, like the Saxons, Franconian etc. the Name German means Men with Spears, Ger (maybe ancient latin from the Romans) is an old Word for a Spear. Everbody thinks about Norway If they hear about Vikings, but the Danish Kingdom was much bigger at this time. 🙂

Right from the start I can tell you they are not using those instruments. If the true sound was on, they'd sound like amateurs. For all music videos that you can see, no band or a singer (like in pop, r'n'b, etc.) is actually performing, but rather singing/playing to a playback. It would be cool if they used those instruments, but they're just for show. Perhaps the "guitar" that the guy you described as Ragnar Lothbrok lookalike is actually used, but in their studio version which sounds just the same as the video. Same goes for the drums. But it's all studio sound. As far as its name goes, the instrument is called "talharpa".
Well yes, I do know this and how music videos are filmed.
