The last one, the avulsion, is what I had from a fall. ER doc missed it at first, and a follow-up with an ortho found it. No MRI ever gotten. :( PT meant I got most of my ROM back. :)
I had a nightstick fx of my right radius in 2017, and the distal portion on the bone impacted the radial nerve. That was interesting. I had an ORIF 9 days later. Still can't feel my right thumb or index finger.
@@xrayreview-drb thank you! I don't have any issues aside from the numbness, so I can't complain. The worst part of waiting to heal was not being able to drive - I've had stick shifts since 2002.
In 2005 during Hurricane Katrina I broke both my thumbs. My left thumb is broke at the base of my thumb, it still pops out to this day and hurts like hell when it does. I just pull my thumb out and shove it back in place. My right thumb is broke between the fist and base with the top of the bone resting next to the bottom. That thumb is very crooked and does hurt once in awhile but it is just an ache. I have a jersey injury on my middle finger right hand that just left a huge knot on both sides of my first joint. I also broke other bones. I am very clumsy and just very unlucky all my life. Broke my wrist hitting a tree stump mowing the yard, tore my labrum in my shoulder after my dog knocked me down a hill - slap tear. yeah that is just the upper part of my poor body. I am 60 years old now and trying to be more careful but yeah that isn't working. I just have very bad luck.

Oh no! Glad you are doing mostly better ;)

I hope you are doing better! Neurologic complications like that may take years to improve, if ever.
