There is a reason why real pilots fly a traffic pattern with downwind, base and final. Do yourself a favour and take a few lessons with a good instructor if you want to live a little longer.

@@TheGrundigg I think you are missing the point of the conversation. Its not about me. Somebody made a comment about landing procedures and I just concur with it. And I am aware that flying in controlled air space is totally different from hoping from top of the hill and landing in the bushes. Yet, it would be a good idea to have a plan, where to land and how. And my mistakes ? Sure did very few, some very scary. Other achievements ? I am still here drinking beer, what else you might want in live ?
Any landing you can walk away from is a good landing :)

Exactly my thoughts -- see how the glider's pilots are doing it. Your landing approach looked very chaotic.
