They probably won't do a deep dive into it because it would then be revealed that the Bucs missed the playoffs that season because of how bad defense and special teams were. lol
I felt like the Saints screwed him over a little bit. In 2021 before he got injured, he was 5-2. They finished 9-8 that season, and Winston never started again that season. In 7 games with Jameis, they won 5 out of 7. Without Jameis, they only won 4 out of 10.
@voiceofreason2674 I agree, Winston was kind of like poor man Brett Favre. I don't like how Carr seems to be in fear of throwing the deep ball, unless it's to Rashid Shaheed. Winston was just more entertaining to watch. From the 5 TD performances one week, to the arm punts the next week. At least I felt like the Saints were competitive with Winston.
What makes the famous 30/30 season even wilder. Winston's 30th interception was the LAST pass he threw that season. Reason being, that 30th interception occurred during the final game of the season, in overtime, and it was a pick-6 😅😅😂😂🤣🤣
What makes it even wilder is they wouldn't have even went to OT if the kicker made at least one of his attempts. That same kicker beat the 2021 Bucs in the playoffs.
It can’t just be me, I feel like Dennis Allen had some serious one-sided beef against Jameis. When you choose past-prime Andy Dalton and past-prime Derek Carr over him, and throw him under the bus at season’s end after the Falcons match?
I get the feeling Dennis Allen just doesn’t get the concept of ‘fun’. Seems like a guy who’s just serious and dull to be around. Like Belichick without the winning.
CFB was so strict about giving athletes benefits that it was better for FSU to say he “stole” the crab legs rather than say were given to him for free. Say what you want about NIL, I think it’s much better than that alternative.
NIL has kind of made a mess but at least athletes are now able to get some (legitimate) compensation, instead of basically working for free while the NCAA rakes in billions off of their work
if it hasnt already happened and i missed, i am looking forward to things coming full circle when jameis does a commercial for publix seafood department
Brother, I love how your videos are so informative and sarcastically hilarious 😂 at the same time. And I have to say you've got the absolute best string of "Your mom" jokes I've ever heard in the last few videos of yours I have watched including this one's which made me do a spit take. 😂
I learned about this man thanks to Chiseled Adonis' video. His humor got me when a friend showed me a clip of him dancing with crutches. This man will continue to eat those Ws and crab legs with his energy 😂
That 30 for 30 season is something I highly recommend that *everyone* watches. Even if they don't watch American Football. That level of Jekyll and Hyde football play has never and probably will never be seen again. It was incredible
He grew up when he went to NOLA. He chose backing up Drew Brees for a year over starting for the Dolphins, who at the time were rancid. It’s not his fault Dennis Allen seemingly hated him.
@@natevart4156 Bryce Young you feel bad for, you feel even worse for him looking at what CJ is doing knowing he could be just as good if he had tools to work with
@@BrandanTheBroker precisely. But that’s how the nfl has pretty much always been when you really think about it. Steve young was regarded as a horrible qb for the buccaneers but once he was in San Francisco with bill Walsh’s west coast scheme and some insane weapons on offense. He became a hall of famer . If you put Bryce young in a senario like that then it would be the same
Hey hey, it was 33 tds and 30 interceptions. As a bucs fan that year was really entertaining. We were all offense and no defense for like 10 games. I will always remember that rams game. 55-40. Hope he plays for the browns. He's fun
That 2019 season was crazy though, for real. You forgot to mention that Jameis didn't have Mike Evans or Chris Godwin for the last 2 games of the year, so he had Breshad Perriman carrying people to fantasy championships
One of my favorite athletes. As Gennaro Gattuso said "sometimes may be good, sometimes may be shit!!". Once he throws the ball, you never know what will happen. Besides, he's a joy to listen to. A bit weird but you know you'll be entertained.
There's a video floating around of his 2019 highlights, where every time he threw a pick the video got faster. By the end the video was so fast the audio cut out.
I feel like at least 7 of the interceptions he threw in that 30/30 season were on the WRs. Hit them straight in the hands just to end up in the defenders
Your team found out that the Bucs closed you out of the playoffs, so it could be said that the last touchdown was taking the team's anger out on the Falcons.
i miss having him on my team. he brought a positive energy to my city and embraced us like he grew up with us. he did toy and food drives and he came out to parades to celebrate with us. he spoke at our schools to try and reach these bad ass kids. jameis is a gem and the embodiment of “it’s more than a game” i’d take him back over derek carr-wreck any day and i laugh in the face of anyone that tries to shit on my qb 😂😂

He wasn't bad, he was immature and he'll admit that. Given a good mentor and time being an understudy to someone else, he could be decent.
That goes for a lot of busts in the nfl. A lot of the time QBs look horrible but it’s only because they are on a horrendous team like Bryce young.
