      They probably won't do a deep dive into it because it would then be revealed that the Bucs missed the playoffs that season because of how bad defense and special teams were. lol

    I felt like the Saints screwed him over a little bit. In 2021 before he got injured, he was 5-2. They finished 9-8 that season, and Winston never started again that season. In 7 games with Jameis, they won 5 out of 7. Without Jameis, they only won 4 out of 10.

      @voiceofreason2674 I agree, Winston was kind of like poor man Brett Favre. I don't like how Carr seems to be in fear of throwing the deep ball, unless it's to Rashid Shaheed.
      Winston was just more entertaining to watch. From the 5 TD performances one week, to the arm punts the next week. At least I felt like the Saints were competitive with Winston.

    What makes the famous 30/30 season even wilder. Winston's 30th interception was the LAST pass he threw that season.
    Reason being, that 30th interception occurred during the final game of the season, in overtime, and it was a pick-6 😅😅😂😂🤣🤣

      What makes it even wilder is they wouldn't have even went to OT if the kicker made at least one of his attempts. That same kicker beat the 2021 Bucs in the playoffs.

    It can’t just be me, I feel like Dennis Allen had some serious one-sided beef against Jameis. When you choose past-prime Andy Dalton and past-prime Derek Carr over him, and throw him under the bus at season’s end after the Falcons match?

    CFB was so strict about giving athletes benefits that it was better for FSU to say he “stole” the crab legs rather than say were given to him for free. Say what you want about NIL, I think it’s much better than that alternative.

      NIL has kind of made a mess but at least athletes are now able to get some (legitimate) compensation, instead of basically working for free while the NCAA rakes in billions off of their work

    That 30 for 30 season is something I highly recommend that *everyone* watches. Even if they don't watch American Football. That level of Jekyll and Hyde football play has never and probably will never be seen again. It was incredible

      He grew up when he went to NOLA. He chose backing up Drew Brees for a year over starting for the Dolphins, who at the time were rancid. It’s not his fault Dennis Allen seemingly hated him.

Steve young was regarded as a horrible qb for the buccaneers but once he was in San Francisco with bill Walsh’s west coast scheme and some insane weapons on offense. He became a hall of famer . If you put Bryce young in a senario like that then it would be the same

    Hey hey, it was 33 tds and 30 interceptions. As a bucs fan that year was really entertaining. We were all offense and no defense for like 10 games. I will always remember that rams game. 55-40. Hope he plays for the browns. He's fun

    One of my favorite athletes. As Gennaro Gattuso said "sometimes may be good, sometimes may be shit!!". Once he throws the ball, you never know what will happen. Besides, he's a joy to listen to. A bit weird but you know you'll be entertained.

      i miss having him on my team. he brought a positive energy to my city and embraced us like he grew up with us. he did toy and food drives and he came out to parades to celebrate with us. he spoke at our schools to try and reach these bad ass kids. jameis is a gem and the embodiment of “it’s more than a game”
      i’d take him back over derek carr-wreck any day and i laugh in the face of anyone that tries to shit on my qb 😂😂

    As a Bucs fan, I cannot stand this man. I know he's a clown and entertaining to most other fanbases, but I don't care how many yards he put up with us, dude is just not a winner & a complete embarrassment to a franchise. Ask New Orleans about last year.

Jameis is a cool dude and he may not be the best QB but he plays to win unlike Derek Carr garbage azz. And the saints did not give him a fair shot at the job even tho serious injuries definitely were just bad luck his way. 21 ACL 22 broke his back and really shoulda just stayed out all season but he came back and we just kept riding Dalton (who was also better than Carr)

      I loved Jameis in New Orleans and maybe if the 2015-2019 Bucs had a *check notes*
      -Defense'
      -Run Game
      -Consistent O-line
      -Good special teams play
      Maybe, you all could have been making noise. If yall spent more time looking at games instead of hating Jameis, you would have known your team just wasn't good and the only reason most games were close was because of the passing offense.
