Went up to Mount Shasta, CA and found a sweet spot where the MilkY Way was dancing around the dormant volcano.
Shot on a 5D Mark IV with the Sigma 12-24mm f/4 DG HSM Art Lens.

Hey Richard, I was very fortunate on that evening. The universe was being kind to me, especially the weather. I went up there from San Jose and it seemed everything worked out for me. I haven't had a weekend like that since. Either weather, or moon staying up throughout the night or equipment malfunction. Since then I've learned about some must have apps to help plan for that.
