For the last round, my strategy would have been to bid nothing at all because just like Link, I immediately suspected the jewelry box was not actually valuable. So let the other person bid on it and get the last one for free. That would have been a winning strategy too.
i think the lowest bid is $25. Link wouldn't have gotten the 4th box for free, since the mechanic of the game calls for the minimum starting bid to be $25, i think
And if you think about the entertainment value of the game, it'd be more likely that the producers would make the final, unrevealed mystery box the most valuable for the dramatic twist ending.

Can we talk about how the mystery box that contains clothes doesn’t have size options, but rather “Sizing will be picked at random for all apparel items.” I was super excited to get this for my boyfriend for his birthday coming up, but it’s not worth the risk of nothing with actually fit him.
Yeah that's not cool, there should be an option that's just like an IF you happen to get clothing let us know your size

FYE is a good store for many of those items. Target has a few of them as well

I was going to get the mystery box but you don’t have the option to choose a size and it says the sizes of clothing items will be picked at random. If I could have chosen a size I would have bought one 🙁
Yeah, I feel like if you're a size small or something, it would be ok because you could wear anything and just have it be baggy, or even get it tailored. As a non-small size, I wouldn't take the risk.
