Tell him to take it to a tuner that knows what they're doing, the TB stick can be fixed. Just did it for Ben's S2k.
HQ Engineering ftw
Really regret not buying an nsx when a clean one was 25-30k.
It all was expensive until it was even more expensive lmao
Same
These and vipers were about 35k 20 years ago, which would be about 60k today.
Don’t we all.
I would've done so had I not been 10 years old at the time.
They just don't make em like that anymore
would sound absolutely nuts with a DC Sports header and Taitec GT 009 exhaust
Nice to see your NSX sounding oh so sweet Jami! i can't say the same for mine. HQ can't seem to get mine right. I'm so over it. Glad you were able to figure out the CF air plenum. It looks rad (and sounds great)
He should get the Quaife quick rack, it's one of my favorite mods (besides JDM gears/NSXR final drive and 250lbs of weight reduction). It has one of the best steering I've ever experienced, I prefer it to even my buddies Exige 260S.
I've been wanting to try that rack. How much heavier is it vs stock NA1 steering?
Yeah I have the same mods as you but was hesitating with the quick rack as the oem is already so heavy !
I need to experience this once in my life man, that induction noise is too good.
Yes :) The sound is one of the reasons I look at baying a used Porsche Cayman, they sound amazing at higher rpm with the boxer 6 ;) (the Turbo boxer 4 is also great sounding but completely different)
They have long ass gears, someoone do final gear swap
GT4 has long ass gears too
This one has the JDM short gearset. Type R final drive would be a nice upgrade though.
JDM 5 speed Type R gears are shorter than stock. This is good enough
Tell me you have money without telling me😅
What a focused build. That’s not a car you take to the shops. Love it!
Turn off the A/C! Lol, NSX might be my favorite 90's car next to the RX-7.
Dam that’s a nice NSX, sounds glorious!! gear ratios seem pretty good to me
Shout out to HQ Engineering for the fantastic motor.
Curious what that guy does for work to afford that car. The engine alone must’ve been 30 grand.
30k ain’t a bad price
Hes asian. Something math related.

Wow! This really is one of the best sounding NSX around, at least on YT. Nice video and great car ♥
Wow, now that is something special. What a credit to the owner. Doesn't get much better than that. VTEC dreams!
Glorious is the only word to describe that sound.
Nice nice. Love that sound
Lovely car, thanks. Re the LWFW meaning you have to shift quick, that's not really true. Sure, you can shit quick to stop the revs dropping, but you can also throw in a little blip on some upshifts as required. That allows you to be more gentle on the box and not be smashing the lever through the synchros all the time, which isn't terribly mechanically sympathetic. Would certainly be a useful string to add to the driving bow rather than trying to rush shifts all the time.
Would love to hear this thing scream on track. Have u considered adding a pedal cam to the videos?
Haven't found an easy way to add a pedal cam that can easily be removed once I'm done
Thank you for sharing 🙏🏻
"Does this car drive as amazing as good as it looks?"
I already knew the answer was yes...yes it does. The owner didn't skimp out on the quality build. Honda will never make another car like this. The FL5 Type R, DE5 Integra Type S (sorry Zygrene 😅), and NC1 NSX don't compare. That comparison with the GT4RS is spot on. I always considered the GT4 and GT4RS the true successors to the NSX and NSX Type R respectively.
Edit... I thought the 95 and up models got hydraulic power steering and not electric power steering?
If I recall correctly, 95+ has an electric power steering system that supposedly turns off above a certain speed (either 20 or 35 mph). But from my two experiences driving EPS equipped examples, it still feels extremely light at high speed with much less feedback than the early manual rack.
Sounds amazing bro 👊🏽🙏🏽🌟 what’s that unique carbon fiber box over the engine bay ? Btw I put about 46k miles after 5 years 😅
Another great one! Any chance we could see a Fairlady Z in your next jdm legends video?
I'll have an R34 representing Nissan but would love to do a separate video on a classic Z
Early congrats on 50k subs
The nsx is a car you drive without having to prouve you got power or you're the fastest thing on the road . But if you drive it with intention, it's going to call the wild boys 😅 so know if you get the honda bug .... whats that? Using all the rpms.
In bay area some shop has like 3 old skool nsx . They selling one like 120k
What a beast! where can I get that blurred out license plate? 😊
I am surprised no one I know of makes license plate cover that can be blurred electrically... (glass that you can blur electrically with on of switch exist for showers...).
@@a64738 its illegal , if you drive through a area with camera often, camera can report it to cops who can sit there waiting to pull you over
Looks amazing with the sound to match
🥳🎉😁
i wouldnt want this car - the speedo is too blury :D
That intake plenum is a thing of beauty.
Beautiful car and sound, vtec!❤
I see a nav pod I like. A person of culture and good taste
Awesome review Fenton!😊
I want that steering wheel! sweet
Omg. FK yeah!!!!
This is too cooool😮
What road is this?
what road is this?
Awesome car 👍👍
Carro legal
Outstanding!!
Front lip with exposed rivets/screws are NOT JDM 😂
Looks clapped out.
What's your tattoo?
It says "drive" in japanese
People who think V6 engines aren't exotic need to listen to this car and a similarly specced Alfa GTV6 with the 3.0L Busso motor -- which could be the best sounding motor of all time.
Great content btw.
This is a copy of Regan’s NSX. Thank god he has seen the light and now dwindles with Miatas 😂
Sounds like vtec comes in super late in that car. Could be wrong though.
Not feeling it. Low performance for high dollars. Looks good, though .
Imagine this build with the clean and elegant stock body!!!
Stock body over everything
looks far better now
Good thing they made over 20,000 of them, so there’s bound to be one that suits your preference.
This build with stock body would have 30mm narrower front tires
Imagine not. This body kit is pure function. Not some trash Liberty Walk Rocket Bunny bolt on fender. Not to mention that you can take it back to stock as the fenders come off like legos. No cutting required. But if you wanna run wider tires you need this kit.
Dumbest looking rear spoiler ever
Induction noise 🥴
Can you test a f10 535i in the canyons?
What’s the point of testing a 12 year old luxury commuter car in the canyons? An F10 M5 or even an M550i would make more sense.
it would be great if he tested a peterbuilt 567 too
