Thanks for having the students speaking at the end of the video, it is helpful to be able to listen to a conversation. I had trouble understanding Daniel though because he spoke so rapidly. It would be helpful for beginners like me if the conversations were slowed down a bit. Gracias!
Thank you Dr. Evans for sharing these videos. I recently started learning Spanish on my own mainly from your videos. I found your lessons very helpful. However, just when I thought I could understand some basic sentences, the conversations from the two kids made me realize I still have a long way to go. I hope you could have more real conversations like that at the end of your lessons for us non-Spanish speakers to get a taste of what real Spanish is like.

I get so confused on when to add "que", along with de, a, etc. Although I know the "tener" verb I though it couldn't hurt to go over it again. Boy, glad I did. This gave some clarity on when to add "que"!!! Dr. Danny, I am using your videos, along with Spanish with Paul, and you are absolutely wonderful at laying things out in an orderly and understandable fashion! "Pluma" is an old school spanish word for "Pen", most modern Latins call it "Lapicero" pronounced (Lapeessero). But they will understand pluma too if you are more comfortable in saying that word instead. The modern spanish word for eraser is simply "borrador". Mochila literally means "backpack".

It sounded like bushando which makes it confusing. Es la sala ciento treinta y siete. 2: Ah, si, es la clase de senor Martinez. 1: Si. Donde esta? 2: La clase esta ahi 1: Gracias. Excuse(?) me, [es mi] primer dia en la escuela. 2: Si, bienvenidos. Don't be bummed! You CAN do this and you will. When you get to Nicaragua you will be able to speak every day and you will definitely start understanding more all the time.
