Followed this video to make my own so I appreciate you for making it. Did some tweaking to the process though, I used multi-purpose craft glue instead of the tape and used a heat gun to soften the plastic while cutting it to avoid the cracking.
Good idea! I just made mine, used double side tape to hold the uv light to the top of the container cover. Now just need to find what I'll use for reflective material that will go inside. What did you use?
Great video. Do you know if putting off white Jordan 1 with the open mesh will turn yellow if I put them in this box? I need to un yellow the bottom of the soles, but am worried about the upper mesh yellowing
If it's a box, 4 walls, top and bottom, can leave one side off so it gets air flow if I don't have a fan. Would this work? The uv light would still be directly above the shoes. When it's icing it in the sun it's not boxed in...
@@msmxism3443 with out a fan to cool down the light the shoes might over heat, you'll have to check on them every HR or so just so you can gauge got hit it's getting. Just my opinion
I love the video bro good work, but I heard we can’t use tin foil because the heat generated causes seperation to the shoes, I heard we need a special type material starting with an M, Myrno foil or something? Someone help me ?
I appreciate that boss and mylar film is what it’s called but with the fan going they won’t get hot and I have a thermometer in there to monitor it. Been doing it for years and never had a pair separate on me as well. While tinfoil does hold onto heat it is a cheaper alternative for a beginner. The film would be the next step up 🙌🏾
I know this video is kinda old but couldn't you just use a carboard box instead of a plastic tote? Seems like a box would be easier to cut and would be cheaper.
@@btbkicks thanks for the reply. Also, I’ve heard others say they just use sunlight instead of a box. How well would this work? Have you tried it that way?
7/31/23 i had this Angelus sole bright for months now. I have some 1's maroon, black white around the sole. Just put this stuff on 7:46 am. Man tedious trying not to get on the black part. Then they are sitting in my window but the sun is not getting all around. I will have to flip them. Its too much. Alot people are doing the bottom like no.

Facts. Reshoevn8r acts like everybody alive has 60 pairs each that need iced. Like no, bro. Most people don’t have $2,000,000 worth of shoes 🤦🏻♂️😂

It’ll actually brighten the mesh, check out my chicago off white 1 restoration video and you’ll see the effect
I recommend a dremel to cut the hole much safer. I love this instructional video. Thank you!
Dope bro!!!
Does veg/bloom both work together or can I just use one ?
@@Itstheoccasion both for best results
If you spray it and line it with the foils you can squeegee the excess water out and it’ll still

I don’t see why not, just monitor the heat of the shoes and you should be fine
@@btbkicks of it's in the enclosed box and the uv light has a fan at what temp should it be at? Or not exceed?
Do you need the fan because mines has air flow holes but no fan

Why not use double sided tape for the foil
I’ve tried it before it’s not as good
Does it need to be a certain wattage for it to work?
I started with 600W and noticed that as I went up in wattage the ices got better and I saw results faster.
@@btbkicks thanks!
Use a grinder, yeah or a dremmel.
Why couldn't the light just sit on the clear lid
