@Ssicret4931 i rewatched the end, just to see if i understand your perspective and i don't. maybe i am hardened to these dramas and any "weakness," because i have seen an excess of it in the way these fl's are written and portrayed, indicates forgiveness because once again, in this genre of short form chinese dramas, it is so common. at the end, firstly, she and him held that child's hands together, creating an interlocked chain, hinting at a complete family. the trees and sunlight in the background give me very, "hopeful", "rejuvenation", "spring" vibes. secondly, she let him hear her. surely she knows he'd recognise her voice. why would she let him in on the fact that she is around? much earlier, after being discharged from hospital after finding out that he had given her back her corneas or whatever, she asked his assistant where he went? why would she have wanted that information? why do you care? but once again, i am watching this from a jaded perspective. i think your perspective is much more optimistic.
