Great video on the MP vs M-A. If I had to choose, I would get the M-A. I ended up buying a BP MP only because there was an awesome deal on one. Like you said, both are awesome cameras.
Great comparison! Ive noticed that Leica shutters vary camera to camera, my M2 sounds a lot like your MA and my M3 has a more audible click like your MP. That said the M7 is the quietest M I’ve ever heard. Which camera would you choose over the other?
@@disablethis that could make sense, my M3 is practically brand new and my M2 shutter can definitely has seen some action. I’m sure that attributes to the sound in some ways.
Nice video ! Regarding the weight of the body , the lens will make a big diference in the final weight ; a tiny Voigtländer Heliar 40mm f2.8 (130 g) or a huge Zeiss distagon 35 1.4 (380 g) ?
With your first point... the MA you are absolutely not limited to those rules hand meter... THE MA IS THE MOST UNLIMITED VERSION OF LEICA A MODERN LEICA CAMERA.
Hey Garret! Nice video. You are right about the shutter release that stopping feeling is noticeable, but not a deal breaker though ✌

My M3 was the quietest before I had it serviced and the curtain changed.

The white dot is where the lightmeter meters the light…and thats why it is only on the MP 😊
Thanks for answering the question on the MP battery door. I wouldn’t want to feel that when folding the camera. MA for me

NO WAY, REALLY

Nobody has talked about some of these differences. Subtle but interesting
Dude, where the hell is that Asian girl? You know, a girl with Diana camera.
The M-A is lighter than the MP.
