@@manikaditha6308 Hey! You've probably figured it out by now since it's been 4 months, but I'll explain it to anyone watching who's also curious. It's actually really simple, although it took me a while to figure it out myself. 1. During a roll, you can hold a direction and press (or spam) attack to immediately shoot in that direction. 2. You can also tap a direction if not rolling, and instantly attack in that direction as well. 3. Instead of attacking, you can do either method and use the scope and you'll automatically be facing that direction. Hope this helps! Happy hunting. 😀
This is what i miss about gunning now compared to 4u... timing your shots also knowing your positioning and spacing. Its a different affair nowadays for most
if you mean rise and GU, well i guess so, both have incredible mobility options while having high damage. in world tho, i dont see any different unless you use shield and the meta is spread which is much more riskier than pierce (depends on the monsters too), and mh4u also have shield anyway.
@@manikaditha6308 I'd disagree in regards to World gunning. World added the ability to move while reloading and shooting, which provides a lot more leniency in your positioning. Additionally, while HBG has the shield as an option in both 4U and World, they handle it quite differently. In 4U opting for the shield means you can't bring the power barrel, meaning you lose out on a 10% raw increase (which is pretty significant). There's also the fact that the shield just isn't super great in general, as you still take a decent amount of chip and blockstun (unless you invest in Guard+1/2 which isn't a great idea). In World, you have far more mod slots to work with (up to 5) which makes it a lot easier to justify dropping one on the shield. And if you really want to play it safe you can stack multiple shield mods, plus Guard+ is significantly easier to work into a build because of the changes to the skill system. World made gunning a lot more accessible, which is cool, but I still prefer 4U's gunning for how much more thought you need to put into your positioning.
I've always found gunning Tigrex a tricky and unsatisfying affair, but the fact you made it look so seamless and easy is testament to your skill. Nice hunt and thanks for the upload, looking forward to the next one.
I've never been so confused seeing a regular tigrex roar like brute tigrex. It threw me off guard XD I'm guessing it only ever happens when it's frenzied, though I personally haven't experienced that
@@VanitasMH Oh I get it now. The b tigrex roar is supposed to serve as its apex exclusive move. Perhaps they should have given it another attack that was more unique, instead of borrowing a move from it's subspecies
Awesome as always man. I have a question what are the required specs to play on PC? I just found out a few days ago that my 3DS screen is cracked RIP. And also is there a way to convert my DS data to PC? I dont know where to start or turn im not the good with computers down to a deep understanding of software and hardware Req. i'd really appreciate some knowledge from someone who knows what they're doing. Okay thanks for the great displays of skill that u share with us Happy Hunting PS: If this doesn't reach Vanitas i'd be grateful if anyone else who also has citra running well informed me
this is no different than spread 3 in world, they are both have low skill ceiling due to high damage and incredibly safe, but both are hard if you fight something end game like furious rajang, raging brachy, fatalis or alatreon. id argue world spread is even risker to use in end game because you cant really stagger some monsters to death while having safe distance to dodge stuff, unless you use smoke bomb strat lol.
@@manikaditha6308 world spread the only skill is reload. Reload positioning. At least with pierce gunning you had to calculate between reload and pierce geometry more . Like it was more punishing.?? Idk . I love spread gunning tho it's very relaxing
@@ayembic7933 exactly, nothing much different, pierce in mh4u need more positioning to maximize damage but thats it, spread also need to position yourself making it riskier unless you use shield which is still good but not the best against end game monsters. and its not like you can reload while running with HBG spread in world, the best you can is walk reload and its no different than stationary reload tbh, thus still need to calculate when to reload. not to mention monsters in world is much more fluid and faster unlike mh4u, but solo in world is by no mean harder with hbg spread because the monster HP is much lower than MP scale of mh4u, thats why id said theres nothing much different between the two, only their playstyle differ a bit. this assuming you are using META sets in both game tho, spread can be safer and brain ded in MHW but deals much more less damage. GU and rise in other hand is straight up broken,
@@manikaditha6308 yea completely agree. It's a shame how hbg and lbg as well have been simplified so much. I wish elemental gunning and normal (aim) were more relevant, and that the mobility options for them were more strict. These days it feels like they're basically the same wep but just diff clip sizes/walking speeds whilst drawn They've homogenised them. I also wish they could develop serious difficulty in the classical monhun style (slower, less fluid movement of monsters) without forcing auto reload metas. 4u whilst having a strong endgame for gunning solo was so boring in that furia/vayu were almost hard meta/necessary :(

@@JK-gw9jb i already beat the game solo months ago, but honestly, i dont even remember if i ever figured it our or not ahaha
So for that particular sequence, it would be: roll forward>hold back>(spam optional) attack>scope (R) as soon as attack comes out.
You read that tigrex like a book. Nice gunning!
That triple stagger combo 👌 👀
That was luck 😅
