- SEMA show 2023 kicks off with a TON of new builds from some of the best builders around the world. This exclusive debut features Kevin Hart's newest build "Bane" - a 1970 dodge challenger built by Dave Kindig of Kindigit Design and the TV series Bitchin Rides on Motortrend.

Dave’s crew are top of their profession making Kindig look good , let’s be honest Dave’s talent is in his renditions the skill and build is his staff . It’s a shame they aren’t given more recognition Dave gets all the glory they do all the actual work ! . At least chip always had his crew on set and at reveals I have a lot of respect for chip he is the real king and has the skills to actually do the work himself , bought up working from a kid along side his dad Sam RIP !

You have to appreciate a design from head and Hart to paper, to metal, to hands, to a masterpiece for the eyes and ears. The people that can handcraft these cars are simply awesome.👍👍🇨🇦

It’s a great looking car, but I agree. I would want the wheels and the grille to be that color.
I could go either way on the grille, but definitely the wheels 💯
You don't have to worry. When you get your car you can do that. No one can just say that's nice. Bur always looking for something to say that they don't like.

I Kevin (associates, not “friends”) He has an unquestionably exceptional collection of Hot Restomods. He could afford all the showroom ultra sports and luxury cars (he has a few of those too) but his restomods are unique “one of ones” vehicles. He has his favorite builders but he’s willing to work with someone for the first time to expand the look of his collection. He’s a top tier collector and he just loves cars!

I used to love how on the show they would come to Dave like "we decided we'd like to build this complex customized vehicle to reveal at sema so waited until a week before the show to call you about it".
It’s really next level. The engine top should have referenced Bane’s face mask. Other than the name badges, nothing says “Bane the villain”….
I remember saying to myself during Kevin Hart"s earlier builds watching him look for builders why doesn't he call Dave at Kindigit designs well woe & behold told ya Kev at least thru the TV I'm happy for ya it's my favorite of all your builds....

I just watched Kindig's show on this car. Yes, the front wheels look pretty deep in the fenders, and the front end looks a bit odd.

I'm glad Keven Hart is enjoying his success, he seems like a nice guy. I know it doesn't matter with a show car, but making that kind of power is so much easier with electricity , I would have done a more modern propulsion. Of course 1000 hp is not for relaxing while cruising the street , or probably any sane activity, for that matter.
I enjoyed that is black car was featured by a paint manufacturer, since Kindig is always rejecting stock paint formulations on his show. And of course, black is the key color of decision when one is selecting a paint system.

Glad to see you incorporated seat belts , most of the cars you build seem to be lacking this simple safety device ,maybe the donor vehicle didn't need belts back in the day , but I can't see why you don't put them in every vehicle you build .

Won’t the supercharger housing get extra hot with that cover on it? I wonder if you take that off when racing the car? Just saying because after I ride one of my cats that supercharger housing doesn’t cool down for many hours it can get pretty hot. Cool car!
I don't think that car is gonna see any hard racing.
Not a race car and I doubt the cover maters. RAM TRX has a cover over the S/C from factory and it’s just fine

This is sick. So we took old cars and made them try and look new-designers are now trying to make new look old-that’s cool & at the same time parts of it look future. So we got past , present and future look to this. 3D printing is crazy. I love what the 3D printed engine parts and the door panels but don’t like that dash and console,somebody’s imagination fell short on that part. If you can create anything of your imagination as a dash and console that could be more crazy. I design and build crazy stuff in and out of peoples homes for people who have money so it’s why i can see in my head what people were thinking. I’ve done a few cars over the years and I’m thinking of taking my skills to cars and opening a custom shop. But don’t get me wrong this is a beautiful build but i know i could do better.
Can you imagine how nice it would have turned out if Wayne Carini, Chip Foose, Jerry Ocasio or Joe Martin had done the design?
Not a fan of the rims and their profile. I like the interior colour, but I might have wanted some different sculpting of the inside.
You can do some amazing things when the cost doesn’t matter.
