It's so strange to me that a place we know to represent a dystopian and generally not-so-great place in time is soothing. This terrace, like many of these trending futuristic places are some sort of getaway in a probable future completely polarized by very high tech yet crumbling infrastructure and societal function. Something many of us could create now in our own spaces that is similar to this aesthetic would have no appeal as it would not give the same strange feel of comfort that you can't quite place. The real vs. the unknown, given the same intent are completely different. I feel like this is why many of us continually chase ideas, hobbies, and ways of life that we believe will make us feel fulfilled. We "find" something that we feel will finally be "our" thing, and then once we have it, we quickly realize we don't want it, for it doesn't change a single thing about us or how we perceive life. This terrace is a perfect depiction of what we feel would be the one seemingly simple thing that we would need to be content in a future where nothing is certain. The certain fact is that the majority of people longing for the life of the person that has this terrace in perceived dystopian 2049 would in short time feel the exact same sadness and unfulfillment as they do in 2023, compounded by the fact that this terrace is now the only thing left that is simple. The longing to go back to 2023 would be immense and you would grow to hate this terrace as it represents many things you took for granted that you so badly wished weren't around so you could have your dystopian terrace. As much as I love these depictions, they also scare me. We are training ourselves to never enjoy the present and that "if only" happens, THEN we will be happy. That is incorrect. You will never be happy if you cannot learn to enjoy the now and appreciate what is around you. Find a way to create the feeling this image gives you in your present. Stop searching for materialistic quick fixes and do not fall victim to your own self-sabotage of your happiness. It is okay to dream of such a place-- just do not let it take away years or tens of years of your healthy life while you skip out on enjoying the now. I assure you, it is not, even if we are told so, and there is MUCH to live for and do if you choose to tune out the noise and look around at the simple terrace retreats that currently exist all over the place in nature.
Nice reflexion, and I totally see what you're saying, I would just say that although this chasing after unreal worlds - the allure - represented by mistery and possibility, the escapism, definitely is something people do, but most likely through videogames, I wouldn't make a negative conclusion based on the comment section. Not chasing after the ethereal escape in some future, but rather experiencing it in the present, that is why we come here. this as screensaver.... this would be OSM!
Cheers from Tokyo! Hey, that looks like my patio here. I wish! Seriously, nicely done.
i got good chills from the scenery . this is the perfect place and weather
Man I work as a VFX / 3D Artist and your visuals are so good and on point I don't even dare to propose you my services ! And the music is perfect to achieve focus while enjoying this blade runner vibe I so cherish. Thanks a lot for all of that.
Hey, thanks for your heartwarming feedback. Cool that you work with that. In what field? Gaming, movie, industrial??
Warm and welcoming. Cool and breezy.
i wish i own that room.
such a beautiful unreeal world
EVERYONE SHOULD LISTEN TO THIS IN THE END OF DAY.
STRANGE FEELINGS!!
What an inviting and relaxing space. I would want a sweater because it looks damp in the city this evening.
Lots of tears ...in the rain
This visual is fantastic! Well done.
Perfektes Timing fürs Geschichtsabi
Can't wait to experience this in VR
is there a way I can get this as an animated desktop wallpaper?? even just a HD static version
This is an incredible scene, it also works well when I mute the volume and instead use the score with rolling thunder from your other video. Next level dark and dystopian.
Really great. All that's missing is the 21/9 ultrawide image. Thank you for sharing 👍👍❤❤
Endroit d'une indescriptible beauté
I wish you all a relaxing holiday. In this wonderful atmosphere
Thank you for another great song. i would love to buy a download of it.
Absolutely I'm going to recreate this in UE5 this week! Ty for the inspiration!!!!
Ah cool. Please send me an email with a video link or something once it's done. I would love to see it :)
Can I use this track once it's completed?
Ohh, hm, not really. The music is made for the channel only. But send me an email when you have something to show. Maybe that will change my mind :) Good luck with your creation..@@HYPERGIRLAI
I’ve followed since you had 25k subs and I’ve downloaded and saved more than a fair share of your videos . And I have to say this is by far the best (and my favorite) BR production you’ve put out thus far. 🎯👌
show some love and donate
@@bastiaanschouwink3562 who says I haven’t donated? The fuck? 🤡🤡
“YOU should probably donate”
an inviting space? maybe yes, but it puts a deep sadness in my heart as well. and yet i can't stop watching... or listening. beautiful and terrible all at once
