Unless you specifically order mince (Ground beef ) from your local butcher (if you can) here in Australia the best meet to fat ratio you are going to get is NO MORE THAN 20%

Anyone else simmer their meatballs in its own red sauce for 3-4 hours? This is the only way I enjoy meatballs
I oven bake or fry them then put them in the sauce

I cook mine in the sauce…..never fry them first
