An additional comment... When I come to a part of the model where I have to walk away, I just play this video, laugh my ass off, and go back to work. Great job!!
omg all I could think watching this was the Bronco ZTZ99 I just finished hahaha wife and I both searching under my desk and the couch for parts, eventually saying "well, it's the vacuum cleaner's hatch handle now,"
I bought the bronco jeep and 37mm gun in a fit of nostalgia for the monogran kit I built when I was 12. I think the jerry cans in the bronco kit had more parts than the whole 37 mm gun in the monogram model. I still pull it out of the stash occasionally, but I just look at it and sigh
Farken great work! Was a mad, obsessive kit builder for decades, I really appreciate the humor in this one. As a German speaker though it's always jarring to read the subs that have no relation to what I'm hearing, but it's all good!
I feel this, but while mass building his navy...like Christ, I just want hull, superstructure & guns, not the engine room or the tiny lil' people in the section I won't see.
Oh crap.....I'm currently building a Tamiya one, but with a Dragon one in the stash......! I won't be able to not smirk at every stage of the builds from now on.....!
Oh this is priceless, seriously laugh out loud funny. I can imagine the people at Dragon ....".Sir,... it's the Fuhrer,.....he disapproves of our kits, we've been ordered to discontinue the over complicated ones. Especially panzers, Luftwaffe aircraft, oh and make sure the Tiger 1 kit is wiped from existence." 😆
Hahahhahhahahaha funniest shit I have seen on RUclips yet!! But like others on here say only we modellers would get it. Other folks will just scratch their heads and swipe. Great job!
I gave up on Dragon vehicles quite awhile ago. There is just NO EXCUSE for their instructions. Having said that I do like their 1/35th figure sets! Will never buy another vehicle kit from them.
Sanity at last, a Tamiya Tiger. Nevertheless I enjoyed the Academy 1/35 Tiger 1, Exterior - it's a great kit, but no colour instructions with little detail. Paint in DAK colours a breeze, and no parts lost on the floor. Dragon was a good way to finish Hitler, now send one to Ptin to make, full interior too.
Great video! The only thing I don't understand is the hate towards Dragon kits. They are well done and build into nice models. Is the parts count the issue? Are they too complicated for some modelers out there? I have been building for 45 years and build all sorts of kits in different scales including super detailed 1/350 ships, 1/16 full interior German armour (with details and corrections added/made) and 1/8 Pocher classics so parts count has never been a problem for me and issues with instructions, while frustrating are usually easily dealt with. Entertaining and funny video nonetheless and interesting to read the opinions!
Overengineered and WAY overpriced for what they are. A 30$ tamiya kit with some aftermarket pe and a little skill with some milliput or plasto will give you a model that looks just as good, costs far less, and goes together so much easier.
@@elijahhunt9407 Good luck finding a $30 Tamiya kit unless it's one of their old ones. Most kits are overpriced nowadays. Over engineered may be true but that doesn't make a kit bad. It depends on whether one is a true modeler or simply a kit assembler looking for a relatively quick fix. There's nothing wrong with that if that's what makes you happy but tearing down a brand simply because it doesn't fit one's way is pretty lame.
@@michaellemaire5380 High part counts doesn’t equal a kit for “true modelers” or whatever that’s supposed to mean. @@elijahhunt9407 It comes down to what works for you. If one can't afford to spend too much on a kit or just doesn't want to, then they buy within their chosen price range. @@michaellemaire5380 you asked why there was “hate” around Dragon and I answered. So true, just experienced my first Dragon Panzer kit. Glued 20 tiny parts never realized i will never see them as they are inside the frame.
I've watched this several times, and my ribs hurt from the laughter every time. Awesome job!!
I laughed so hard the neighbour's baby woke up.
As a tank nerd I fully empathize with the fuhrer on this! Lol!
Genius. Now let me sort through my box of spare dragon parts....
bring me a damn tamiya tiger 1 !!!!!
I bet he'd be seriously mad that Tamiya or Dragon produced more model kits than the Reich actually built for each type of AFV.
I haven't seen any funny meme in the scale model community until now
