- Had a hard time getting them to bite but with some great advice from local fisherman and a little ambition, I finally got on some PINKIE's the previous SALMON SEASON...EXCITED for what next season brings!
I know that spot. 🔥🔥🔥
I had a lot of luck on silvers with the “egg sucking leech” pattern in Alaska. Like you say , dark body seemed to be the thing….. except when it’s not.
See you on the green bro !! Thanks for the video
2023 Pink Salmon season! im excited already!
Pinks run every year on green? I thought every off year
correct every odd number year, so no pinks in 2024, they will be back in 2025
So single barbless on the Green?
single and barbs are allowed on the green
@@cdro670 gotcha , thanks
I thought barbed hooks were not allowed
@@datsthat they are allowed, not sure where you got that info. from besides not checking the regulations for this specific river.
Good shit bro. Waiting for the next one.
Its a new year! PINK SALMON SEASON 2023! coming soon lol
Hello what river is this thanks Marty
Green river, Wa state
Nice video man! Love the custom jerry rigged bait setups. What rod length do you suggest using?
man honestly i'm not too familiar with all the salmon gear and equipment but from my experiences I think your rod length and gear depend on the type of water and conditions your fishing as well as what type of fishing your going to do. For twitching jigs I prefer a little shorter than the common 9 foot rods everyone is usually carrying. I fish steep inclines with bushes/trees behind me so a shorter rod is better for me in those areas. in my other honey hole its more of an open area with a deep hole so I use a 9 or foot length rod especially when i'm fishing bobber and eggs which makes it easer to get the eggs out where I want them to compared to a shorter rod. I think the more you go out and fish, the more you will see what fits your needs, what you don't like and like about the rods you're using now. just start somewhere and if it don't feel right, see what you need to make it better for you.
Was not expecting such a detailed response, thank you that makes sense! I've been getting by with a standard 6ft but plan to get a 9ft now for those more open areas and drift fishing @@cdro670
