Mad Mike's MadMac 3-Rotor 20B swapped McLaren P1 INSANE Sounds & Drift/Donuts!

During the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed I filmed this MADMAC by MadLab; based on a McLaren 650S GT3 with body panels that draw inspiration from the P1 GTR with custom touches by Lanzante and Rocket Bunny. The crew at MadLab was called upon to build something extreme, so they created a three-rotor 20B billet engine and bolted a big turbocharger to it. The flame-spitting 2.0-liter mill is managed by a Haltech ECU that sends 1000hp to the rear wheels through a 6-speed sequential gearbox.

I have two favorite engines of all time. One being this design. Its sound and unbelievable power output outlawed it. The other did something that no other engine in motorsports has even came close to doing. Its sound is argumentaly beter . Depending on who you ask. Over all I still think they are the kings of the world. Long live the Rotory and the Beast from Detroit. The Chrysler HEMI and the Mazda Rotery.

Engine doesn't really suit the car. P1 is a turbo V8 car. Rotary should be in a Mazda or better yet, a prototype kit car like an Ultima or SLC.

If I was him , I'd get an Ultima RS and have a custom 787b body created for it. I know someone who did this with a Sauber C11 body. And Jon Olsson made his own crazy body called the Rebellion R1K which later became the basis for the Ultima RS body. Then of course put your engine of choice.
