I think about ten years later (or less?), Willie's sister Bobby took over the piano duties, and was quite spectacular. She passed away in 2022. But this show was a great display of Austin music - jazz, blues, a bit o' rock, and melancholy Real Country.
Can't forget about Old Willie! That harmonica is soooo good! Isn't the title of the song so true... "Funny How Time Slips Away" Thank you for sharing! 💖
Amazing! I think these two songs, and “Crazy”, are Willie’s best ❤️! Also amazing is that he had already worn holes in Trigger this early-on 😂! Willie bought the guitar in ‘69, and still plays it, today 😁❤️!
Easy to understand how Willie went broke in the 80s. I have no idea we has so many musicians. Why r there 2 drum kits, smh 🤦♂️. Obviously he put his audience and the show before his financial gain. He could have put on great shows with a 3 piece band. I guess that’s what made him such a legend. Thanks for all the great music Willie.
To ur point, Mickey was great with Willie. What a great instrument to play. Carry a few harmonicas, a mic 🎙️, amp and u r set. My favorite genre is 70s rock cuz I like the layer a keyboard puts in music. The harp player achieves the same end.
Now THAT is a song....
Beautiful Willie 😍😍😍
"Funny how time slips away" is on my playlist for when I want to reminiscence about my first marriage.

And he could do rockers, too - WHISKEY RIVER, for example.
Was able to see Willie perform in Schaumburg, Illinois. Thank you Midnight Special 🤗
Classic Willie!🎵
I wish it was then
Oh how we all do😢. Life was better back then.
I just love this song & Willie ❤❤❤❤❤
Fenomeno Willie
Mt. Rushmore should be altered, and put Willie up there. What a legend 🤘
this is one old film, trigger still looks good.

I think that blues riff on this song is what caused the hole in Trigger
Beautiful ❤
❤❤❤❤❤ Whoop Whoop Whoop ❤❤❤❤❤
One drummer < Two drummers.
