I do not talk ill of anyone and I don't listen to anyone talks bad about anyone else. I saw a great conversation I mentioned. I am some how aware of my Islam and what I and my family should focus on in my deen. That's it. The day of judgment my neighbors, my relatives and people around me how I treated them I will be answering about. My Allah helps us fulfill our religious duty and guide us Ameen.

I know his views are sometimes scary but I have not yet seen a video of DR YQ supporting gays, abortion, etc. Sometimes he doesn't bite his tongue but sometimes I'm asking myself why do you want to please them? They will never like you as long as you are a Muslim.

I prefer to listen to him than those people.

Salam, very humble account of a beginning that may have not resembled what he would achieve later in life but yet here he sits a learned man in the Deen..Mash Allah very inspiring. Mash Allah! The question he answered at the end, his answer..Epic! may Allah preserve, guide and protect this Brother, Ameen. As much as some people may fear that some youths are going to listen to this and take his story of growing up and use it as an excuse to do or not to do certain things pertaining to the Deen..there may be more youths that rarely hear a story of a Scholar that grew up "Hood" and was "guided " to Islam in such a monumental way and find motivation and hope of what he also may achieve.( doesnt mean every person is meant to share his story) I always said not only bad comes from the hood Ive seen this myself... Making Dua likes this changes a number of things...Im not going to tell you what this Dua has changed for me because what Allah may do for you may be different then what He has done for me..but do it in Sujood as often as possible, I know that maybe not all my children will be guided, In sha Allah, if Allah sees fit they will..but I try to watch my conduct and I make Dua for them and one thing I can share is that when they are in calamity...whether the consequences of their own doing or something out of their hands Im able by the Blessing of Allah (most of the time lol, and when I go overboard Im able to simmer done alot quicker...our children be doing somethings sometimes that are "?" ) I am then able to give advice or hope in their situation without being hyped up by anxiety.I hope this help, may Allah give you even better then what He has given me, Ameen.
