Jazakallah Khairan Shaikh YQ and brother Nihad Awad. My daughter has an advanced diploma in filmmaking. My husband used to think that it's not a financially rewarding career. But we do support her. I've always hoped that she can used her talent in the course of supporting our ummah through her lenses. Today's lectures has opened my eyes wider. We've been slowly encouraging her to further her studies in getting a degree as she finds difficulties in finding a permanent job in the industry here in Adelaide, Australia. But we never give up hope. Recently she was listed top 5 cinematographer for youth film-maker among 700 in Australia. Alhamdulillah. We make doa that she can pursue her career further. Insyaa Allah. May Allah guide our youth to be a productive ummah and human being. Amin❤

Encourage her to pursue her goals. She will be a role model for future young Muslims .our umma needs diversity and if we have some Muslims doing what she's doing we will proud to decency in the films and educative contents.

Sheik Qadhi is a gift to the Muslim umma. I started listening to Islamic lectures prior performing my hajj in June 2024. One of the first videos that ran my feed was Dr Qadhi's. I listened and wallahi I got hooked. I think because of many reasons like clarity in inunciation, logical and linking topics to the Sira of Prophet SWA, generous with providing wisdom from the Quran and Hadith, openness to the current plight of the umma, considers unity of all umma regardless of faction

I remember Nihad Awad when he came to Melbourne, Australia in the early 2000s Ma sha Allah.
He came to our masjid few months ago and he mentioned the same for the scholarships of journalism, etc to bridge the gap

CAIR Action political pac is our answer MashAllah to be politically active and influential and have our voices represented in government. Thank God for this initiative and plan. We should all support it financially and in every way possible because it’s our way of never letting another Gaza happen again and never again letting politicians totally ignore us. As Muslims it’s our duty to be united and involved in civics. CAIR Action is the best way for us to do that. May Allah bless this initiative and all involved and all who will support it because it will help generations of Muslims to come.
Brother Nihad Awad, it was a pleasure listening to you during your visit at Islamic Center of Hawthorne sometime ago where you talked about Masjids need to send youth through scholarships to journalisms and other areas of studies to bridge the gaps we Muslim Americans are experiencing now, just like as you have said in this video. Thank you. I agree with you.

It's time for Muslim scholars to engage in a robust debate on how the categories of Zakat-**Al-Mu’allafatu Qulubuhum** and **Fi Sabilillah**-can be connected to fund scholarships and SuperPAC programs. Remarkably, Muslims donated $1.8 billion to charities in 2022!

A friend of mine benefited from the services of CAIR. She was harrassed by a certain govt ofc by calling her. She asked CAIR to resolve it and CAIR made tge caller stop. My friend was very happy.

We do not really need movie editors to be in Hollywood etc. Smart, intelligent, analytic people, journalist, social media oriented people we need, those people can penetrate other religion society to teach Islam as many people still think we are terrorist. More people standing with us more strong we are. Youth should be well educated in Islam for the future as time goes by more fithna and hypocrisy in us. We also need leaders that can encourage, lead and enlight us. I saw a video on youtube richest muslim neighborhood... we do not need show off people whom are keeping distance from others, we need people who are comfortable living with society.

Muslim community leaders in the US need to be more proactive in advocating for politicians in order for us to have more political power.
There's no point in being 501(c) organizations, if we can't use our community to advocate for politicians. Pay taxes and be free to advocate for our own policies.
There is another SuperPAC my friends are working on, for the specific purpose of combating AIPAC - everyone should look up Counter Coalition PAC
(3/3) Consider the influence of our Imams can have if they could say "vote for Jill Stein" in a Jumah khutbah, or whichever candidate we should support as a community. Even our own Muslim politicians. Not only in our local communities, but across the country on social media. Now if you have 10, or 50 Imams online spreading the same message to Muslims across the United States, think of how strong the Muslim voting block could be.
Our Prophet (ASWS) was a spiritual leader and a political leader.
That gives our community strength, and helps to shape policies that change the world.
We shouldn't let a small matter, such as paying taxes, stifle our voice and duty to command what is right and forbid what is wrong.
We need to operate from a position of strength, and not weakness due to fear of losing financially.

7 million Muslims if $100 we put on fund per year it would be 700 million.we could use that money for our political cause and Muslim community development .

We have changed the forces here in our surroundings even though we are weak,you can do the same in USA political surrounds.

The man in suite offers insightful advice to the Muslim community. America practices democracy not theocracy, thus Muslims should endeavor to form an advocacy group to participate in US electoral process. In order to be effective and have significant electoral relevance in the US, Muslim community leaders should discourage any attack of non- muslims by islamic fanatics and always distancing themselves from anyone chanting "death to America" within their sphere. However, the Muslim community needs to build political capacity with others, as US elections have proved time without numbers that no single community can elect a US President. For example in 2016 presidential election, the last poll taken in the week leading to the elections indicated 95% of Muslims supported Hillary Clinton. This was after Mr Trump insulted the entire Muslims community, still he won Michigan and Mrs Clinton lost the state, despite having Muslims as her campaign officer in Michigan. Therefore, it's valid to suggest that building political capacity with other minority groups and having good Muslims (not fanatics) to be the Muslim face in the US electoral process would be an effective way for Muslim Americans to have electoral power in the US democratic system.

In 2016 when Hillary Clinton ran against Donald Trump, because I knew that there was no difference between the two, I voted for Jill Stein and Trump won the election. In 2020, my first choice was Bernie Sanders but Joe Biden got the Democrat's nomination. I knew that Joe Biden was incompetent but I thought that he was a better person than Trump. I don't intend to ever make that mistake again. I plan to never vote in another election, insha Allah.
Vote for Jill Stein to send a message to both Democrats and Republicans that their policies have lost them votes. By supporting her, you can highlight the dissatisfaction with the two major parties and hold them accountable for their decisions.
