the fact that lebron kd and steph are so far into their careers and top 15 players in the league is something i feel like we take for granted, really hope the next generation can match that

I think so too. Gonna ask for Golden State too I think. Maybe Cleveland, New York or Memphis though.
He will be really hard to move though, the team he lands in will be left depleted of assets

Thinking he will win because of hype is delusional. He will win because he will have better numbers because he will have more touches. Their teams are not in the same timeframe.

I just want to recap last season.
The Nuggets coasted the last quarter of the season and still took 1st place in the West.
The went 16 and 4 to win it all.
Lost no Starters in the offseason.
All starters are 30 or under.
The Nuggets are going to walk to another ring.
The complete lack of respect for team play is amazing.

Even if James Harden does force his way to the Clippers, they won't win a championship even if Kawhi plays a majority of the games since we all know what Harden's playoff history is now.

Honestly, my bold prediction is that when Ja comes back, the Grizzlies are going to be a great team and possibly finish 3rd like they did last year. With D Rose's leadership, I honestly believe that Ja prolly won't miss that many more games after he comes back from his suspension. And overall, this Grizzlies team is still looking hella scary.

I think the bucks will flame out in the playoffs. They have yet to fix the problem they've had for the last 3 years. Their Perimeter defense is going be the end of them

Kings can be the new Warriors if they will continue to improve. They even have the same style of playing where they nearly beat them last Playoffs. The championship is still a question yet I have high hopes for this team.
well mike brown(kings) uses gsw system and since he was gsw assistant coach he knew the team plays and weaknesses
Maybe offensively but the Warriors had draymond who was always a top 3 defender and klay who was a top 5 perimeter defender and an overall top 5 defense every year. Kings dont have that.
Yup maybe not warriors but their offense is great enough that they will beat enough teams to reach top 3. Like OKC with durant and westbrook. They win in clutch time, or when they lead by the 3rd quarter, etc

On the bucks defense: Yeah, it’ll be alright. But the cavs comparison is actually a negative in my opinion. The cavs lost in the first round for a readon.
Yeah, they got destroyed in the perimeter which negated what Swish said, Bucks got destroyed on the perimeter by the heat and boston.

One seed is questionable (because of health) but I agree the Lakers disrespect is crazy. People expect them to barely win 45+ games when they won 43 last year with a 13 seed level team for half the year and Lebron injured for like two months after that. Unless someone gets a season ending injury 50 wins is probably the minimum.

OKC will surprise us this year as long as Chet is healthy, they're definitely good. They even have a greater chemistry and balance roster than the pels.
Damn I said we (Los Angeles Lakers) would be a Top 4 Seed & I get called a delusional fan every day but I am hoping you’re right. Was thinking about the longevity & versatility of the team & this CAN be a team, in fact a dynasty which would make them better than the 2020 Lakers, but maybe that’s just me🤷🏾♂️
you guys will easily be a top 4 team in the west but you're in the same boat as golden state where you're just coasting through the regular season. its hard to imagine AD playing more than 50 games and lebron isnt getting any younger. theres a lot of teams in the west better equipped to win during the regular season like phoenix, minny, sacramento
OKC are really interesting but its getting to a point where you have to question is Giddy+SGA+Chet enough for a title, or do you need an upgrade over Giddy to win a title. Not for this year but long term if Giddy isn't pushing into that top 30 NBA player it will be tough to win a title. He basically has to be equal value to Jamal Murray which implies he needs to be a top 5 PG probably

My prediction is that the Grizzlies are going to be scary when Ja comes back, they won't win a championship this year, but the Marcus Smart signing is going to prove to be problematic for other teams going forward.
My. thoughts exactly Lakers gave up 2 games to them and they still hung in there with an injured Ja and other injured starters. Plus their bench stepped up big (idk his name but the guy was draining 3s like crazy). The only issue i can see is Ja. If he keeps flying to the basket no shot hes gonna make it to playoffs healthy

Those takes are pretty safe besides the Fox one. Bold would be to predict that this season the young teams take over: Memphis plays okc in the wcf and in the east its Cleveland against Atlanta
I predict Wemby playes 60games or less, dont think he has the strength to play more in the NBA yet. Also for your takes, i dont think Zion plays 50 games and dont think the Suns 40/50/90 will hit, the others are all more likely imo.
I said this before but I think the Kings with their GSW style sistem will be top 3-4 seed this season.
They also signed one of the best offball players and shooter in the world the euroleague MVP Sasha Vezenkov and if they use him they gonna be a problem.

As a Bucks fan, we need to prove first we can beat Miami and Boston in a 7 game series. The past 2 years we’ve always been respected as favorites to win the championship and we havent made the conference finals in those 2 years.
I predict DG the PG wins MVP averaging 42 and 17 while leading the Cavs to a 77-5 record (I’m def not biased)

I can't see the Lakers being the 1 seed because of the age of lebron and AD, I think they'll be 3rd to 5th, but can very well make a deep run cause of their skill and playoff experience

I'm not sold on the Suns bruh. I know they're gonna underperform, but I feel the same for the Bucks. Just because they have a great duo, doesn't mean they're gonna win it all. I feel like Boston will be playing with a chip on their shoulder. Jrue will be a huge X factor when they inevitably meet in the playoffs.
As a Lakers Fan. I expect a 5th or 6th seed spot for us, if we don't even get that then the regular season is a failure. Ill see the one seed when i see it. Also if we don't win a Championship then the season is a complete failure.

1) The Celtics will beat the Bucks in the playoffs
It just doesn’t sit right with me how the Bucks dumped Jrue, and I don’t think the basketball gods will look kindly on that. Idk if the Celtics win cuz someone on the Bucks is injured or what, but something is gonna happen where the Celtics beat the Bucks
2) Zion will turn into Ben Simmons and never play again.
