Your C clamp is a plumbers copper pipe cutter. You place it on the pipe and spin it while tightening at the same time. 😆
That's very cool!
Your special clamp is indeed a pipe/tubing cutter, it is mainly used for brake lines for cars.
So interesting! Email us for some free GC Merch! 🍺
I suggest that before installing the body armor and tightened the screws in place , to add a bead of silicone at the top so water doesn’t get behind the armor and starts rusting out the body on the jeep .
Nice tip!
At least some double sided good quality tape to work as a seal.
That C-clamp that you were asking about is a plumbers tool. It clamps around copper pipe and you turn / twist it until you cut through the copper pipe.
Super cool thamk you!
That "clamp" is a copper pipe cutter used by plumbers. Gently clamp it on a small piece of copper pipe & tighten it while rotating it around the pipe until cut through. Wirks great. I have several for cutting both copper & steel pipes.
Very cool! Thank you!
thanks for video is a lot of help . The LJ will look Amazing beautiful project guys 😎 you selected great parts in build.
Thank you!!!
That C clamp is a tree stump grinder for tomatoe trees 😅
Love your videos
Laughed out loud! Thanks for that
Hello from Spokane WA.
Hello!
Can't go wrong with MC. Build quality speaks for itself. Made In The USA & the world would be a better place if everyone had the level of customer service that MC does...and that's coming from a Rock Krawler guy. Their diehard customers are tribal and loyal to a fault. Loving the direction y'all are taking with this build. Only "problem" is once you've gotten a taste of the good stuff there's no settling for less.
As for the Raptor lining. I know 4 cans wasn't enough unless you settled for 1 coat which I don't recommend plus you should've most definitely laid down a coat of their etching primer first. You're going to have issues with that in the future. Ask me how I know.
We put down 2 coats over 24 hours. Let's see how it holds up!
That "C Clamp" is a plumbers tubing cutter.
Cool! Thank you!
Can’t wait for the next episode. Looking great so far.
Thank you for the support
I love all of MetalCloak. My 2015 JKU has lots of it!
We love it too!!!
It’s a piper cutter for copper pipes, plumbing. Clamp down rotate around pipe the tighten down again and repeat until pipe is cut
Awesome
Saw Aleen's game show debuit the other night on Press Your Luck!
Sweeet!
It’s a tubing cutter for copper pipe. Jeeps are looking amazing!
Thanks for the info!
Love you channel thanks
Thanks for watching!
The unknown clamp is a pipe cutter to cut copper plumbing pipes
Oh coool!
I always feel entertained when i watch your channel love you guys
Thank you so much!!
It’s easier to get the flares off if you cut them in half long ways. The plastic bolts wrecked my fingers so using pliers is a must unless you just grind em. I really like trifold rivets on new flat flares too. It’s solid. I got a metal set from eBay for 100$ shipped. Yitamotor was the brand
Nice! Thank you!
It’s a pipe cutter 😊
Thank you!
That is what i Did tapped it off and painted also did tub
Sickkkk!
Your oddball clamp is used for pipe cutting..
Thank you!
That "clamp" looks to be a pipe cutter.
Inherited from Greg's dad!
@Garagecouple love the vidoes...wish you would have time to get all the Metalcloak videos up...before their big sale this weekend! I want to pull the trigger on their fenders and rocksliders.
Because of you guys, i bought a set of Rocktrix, did the black classic seven spoke. I love them. Running 35x12.5 baja boss ATs on the rocktrix 17x9 with the negative twelve offset...i couldnt be happier
Love
@@Garagecouple just realized I commented on the wrong video 😂
@@Garagecoupleit was for your white Jeep with the roktrix
Genuinely jealous bro, your wife is Soo fine 🔥🙏🏽 love your videos guys
C clamp is a pipe cutter.
Thanks!
If I did it over again I would have used rivet nuts
As much as i likes watching this its amateur hour with those tools but luckily the girl was there to clean
Thanj you for your attention!
Hate to break the news but If you didn't sand down those corner guards or spray some etching primer that Raptor lining is going peel off and 1 layer isn't going to suffice. FYI, you linked the wrong armor. You linked the Steel ones instead of aluminum.
We put 2 coats down. Guess we'll find out. We can always remove and redo, went on very easily!
It is for cutting pipes
Thank you!
Its a Tubing cutter
Thank you!
Tubing cutter not a clamp
Very cool!
I think you should have the fenders and rock rails powder coated or painted The LJ is a nice Jeep why ruin it with multi colors
It actually looks ammmmazing. Stay tuned for the final episode!
