    The opposite threads on the sway bar links is not to prevent it from unscrewing while driving. It allows you to adjust the length without disconnecting it similar to a turnbuckle. It is actually more likely to come loose while driving so make sure your lock nuts are tight.

    The yellow arm will hit the front grill? Looks like it is too close, when the tire goes up?

      I could attest it does not make contact!

    So I bought this sway bar kit for my Tj about a year ago from when I had seen you buy it for your red Tj , now I have notice lately I had more sway and come to find out the weld on the torsion bar part had cracked and was freely moving around that's when I notices the ends are threaded on and welded , so I ended taking mine off and having a local off road shop reweld the broken end. so keep an eye on yours...

      You can't buy a decent anti rock system for 200 dollars unles it's a knock off, and this defenately is a knock off from the old Curry Antirock system. That's why the plastic is brittle and breaks easily, It's defenately not Delrin. I installed a currie anti rock on my TJ 5 years ago and it still works awesome, no play, no breaking of any part but yes, I payed 600 euro's for it.

      We love our anti sway bar systems. We have 2 now! One is 3 years old and thriving!

    That’s crazy, I just did a review on that sway bar myself like a week ago! There’s definitely a reason it’s priced less than half of a Currie Antirock! You get what you pay for! Buy once, cry once.

      We've had this system for 3+ years and have never had any issues with it! This is our second set! I'd prefer not to cry when modifying my jeeps lol.

      Me either, but after snapping the torsion bar driving it on the street and now needing to buy a replacement Currie torsion bar, I should have just bought the real thing, not a cheap imitation. The hardware is all cheap, the joints are rusty, the only thing worth anything is the arms - which are ironically gen 1 Currie arms. I’m happy for guys that you’ve had good luck, that is awesome! Maybe my case was a one off..

      Like most Jeep owners The Garage Couple really don't off road their Jeeps much so this kit probably works good for them Maybe buy this kit and replace the links with Currie's if they ever break?

    Would it help to freeze the bushings prior to installing - or maybe sanding the inside of the tube a little bit before?
    Also, congrats on the news!

    • @Garagecouple
      @Garagecouple  11 месяцев назад

      Freezing might make it more brittle.. truthfully don't know. Second time doing the job and the same outcome. I think it's meant to be very tight. With the bumper on its not noticeable. Thanks for the best wishes!

    That bushing wasn’t made out of the correct material, that’s why it broke

    With a baby on board you've better knock out what projects you have planned. After the birth your time will be taken up for the first few months.
