Shaped By Fire was produced by the band and was mixed by Joseph McQueen at Sparrow Sound in Los Angeles, CA while mastering was completed by Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound in Nashville, TN. The only exception was for the track “My Own Grave” which was produced by AS I LAY DYING, co-produced by Drew Fulk and mixed by Adam “Nolly” Getgood. The artwork was created by Corey Meyers.

The band will then be on tour in Europe throughout September - October w/ CHELSEA GRIN, UNEARTH, and FIT FOR A KING.
AS I LAY DYING will then close the year with a U.S. tour this November - December with support from AFTER THE BURIAL and EMMURE.

i met nick at a bar once in california. coolest dude ever.
I met nick and Phil in Pittsburgh when they were in wovenwar. Very nice guys, I got star struck when I first met nick and couldn’t talk. I tried to, but nothing came out. He thought it was funny, as did I. Kinda of an embarrassing moment for me. But getting to meet two of the guitarists that have influenced me the most in my playing is an amazing thing. Phil talked to me for quite a while, very down to earth

The 2 mini previews of those new riffs sounded amazing, I literally cannot wait for this album, just seeing all the guys working together and being in the studio again fill’s me with so much joy. This episode was even better then the last one, and I am looking forward to more episodes, also Adam D being involved in the record is great, and those raw Josh vocals sounded phenomenal can’t wait for Tim’s.
Bring back more of the in the studio updates. The only band to keep them lol
