Are those sequential indicators bright in the daylight and is there any difference between the brightness of light in both types of housing (normal&black ones )?
I think the sequential lights are decently bright, not super bright during the day but you can definitely see them. The normal housing and black ones I'm not too sure because I haven't seen them in person but I feel it would be a little too dark during the day. Hope that helps 👍
@@johnmario6901 I’ve had both black out and regular housings. The sequential turn signals are more visible with the regular housing since the lenses are clear as opposed to smoked on black out housings. Hope this helps.
Hi bro!!! Do you know or does anyone know what type (brand, model or size) of RGBW angel halos can be put on these VLand headlights for Lancer? Thank you very much for reading and for the response. Greetings!
Hello! I’m not too sure what can be put in for a custom fit for the vlands. When you buy them they usually come like the way it showed during the video 👍🏼
@@JeffSongCarsHi Jeff! Thanks for answering... Yes, they look incredible as the VLands originally come, I'm just going to order them today, I don't know much. I don't know if they come with bulbs or if I should order them and which ones, because I see that there are several options, I don't know which one is best. But about the halos, I loved the idea of putting them in RGBW. Do you know the diameter of your VLand headlight projectors? To know What size of halos to look for. Thank you very much friend for your attention!
@clikarquitectura no problem at all! That would be cool with an rbg effect to them. I’ll be able to check the diameter tomorrow but it probably wont be exact as it’s inside the housing. I’ll try to get a measurement as close as I can for you tomorrow 👍🏼
@@JeffSongCars Ufff, that would be incredible and I will thank you very much! I will be attentive to the measures that will surely help me a lot. As soon as you tell me, I'll buy them with more information. Thanks very much buddy!!!
Great video, I just installed mine. However my passenger side blinker is super fast, when the hazards are on its normal though. Did you have that issue?
Thanks! That is usually due to a resistor that might be missing or miss wired. Check the wiring and see if there is a resistor on both sides or if anything attach a resistor on your passenger side to get it to the right speed. Hopefully that helps! 👍👍
If I can remember correctly it was H7 bulbs without canbus but I'm not too sure because I bought the bulbs and ballasts over 4 years ago haha 😅, did you end up getting these headlights as well?
@@JeffSongCars yes i recieved the headlights, and ordered the bulbs from vland as well but they are currently on backorder. Do you remember if yours are 35w or 55w?
Mine are definitely 35w because I remember thinking that the 55w would be a bit overkill in the city hahah. Dang a lot of people are buying these because they look so nice 😎👍. You will definitely love them. The only thing that I find weird about these headlights is that there seems to be an empty spot or rather a dimmer spot on each side when the headlights are on, I can't really describe it but it's definitely noticeable
Yes you can move the lights so that the beam is a little lower or higher, it's the same as the OEM headlights where you use a long phillips head to adjust by turning. I'm not sure if you can use the optioned leveler from Mitsubishi because I have the base model but manually it's definitely possible!👍 I adjusted mine as soon as I got it haha
Isn’t there a law that says that if your LED DRL’s are too bright, they need to be turned off when using your turn signals? Sure it looks like you can see them from 10 feet away but what about 100 yards?
I think that applies to cars that were built after a certain year but most if not all Evos were built after that regulation. Don't quote me on that though haha. 😁👍
Yea if it's for the sss package I think you're going to have to give up that option. The vlands are just plug and play and don't have the leveling function
I feel like there may be a crimped connection somewhere, might have to go around all your wires and see if there are incomplete connections or wires that aren't supposed to be touching. Hopefully you can find it because those are a pita to find but you definitely got this!👍
I am also having this issue. Although, it’s my HID bulbs that are flickering when I have my DRL’s on (not fully turned on all the way) after putting the e-brake down. My actually DRL lights seem to be fine, not sure what caused this but if I figure it out I’ll update here.
It has a reflective mechanism in the headlights that makes it so that it you can do hi beams, might be bi-xenon, not sure of the exact thing but it does do high beams if you turn it on 👍
The low beams seem normal for mine and turn on with two flicks but the drl seems correct and is on the first flick. Check to see if you have anything else spliced in if you did any other electrical work because the low beams being attached to the e brake doesn’t seem right
No wiring required it was all plug and play, just to let you know when you press the brakes it's only the outers that light up but if you do a bit of wiring the inner can light up the same way 👍
Definitely purchasing these for my Evo x 👌🏾
Very helpful - great overview!
Sweet! I always preferred the blackout headlights on dark colored evos. Mine being white, I went with the regular housing!

Can you specify which DDM bulb and ballast you got? Did you also choose with or without canbus?

how about the high beams?
The high beams aren’t bad, I think they use the main lens so good output 👍🏼
do the whites from drl and projector overpower the signals? looks like they are in this video lol
Hahahha yea they’re really bright, the turn signals are still pretty visible though. In the video the turn signals are a little bit dimmer than irl 👍🏼
This headlight doesnt have high beam?
They have the high beam built in 😄👍🏼
get afs light issue cos valnd didnt design a cable for afs🤔

Idk what I did if it’s my car but my DRL’s start flickering as soon as I put down the e-brake but disappear when I turn my lights on all the way

If I can figure out how to run the DRL’s without the headlight bulbs turning on then that should probably fix it
does not have high beams
It has a reflective mechanism in the headlights that makes it so that it you can do hi beams, might be bi-xenon, not sure of the exact thing but it does do high beams if you turn it on 👍
my low beams are attached to the ebrake and the drls are attached to the first flick on headlight switch, do you have the same problem?

Did you use hid bulb or led?
I used a 35w HID bulb, I heard LED bulbs aren't as bright as HIDs 👍
D2S/D2H/H7? With ballast right?
It was an h7 and yes 35w ballast, 55w seems a bit overkill haha
Hi which are the exact ones that you got? It’s very confusing. I have a lancer SE 2012.
Hello, this is the one that I bought amzn.to/3fXNpKD
@@JeffSongCars did you get the clear headlights?
I believe so I'll check after work
Do you know if they are clear? Which option did u choose on the link😂
I got the black lens option, sorry work was pretty busy today
Did you do any wiring?

玩命關頭9的導演,你好!
😎👍
What bulbs did you get
I got the morimoto h7 xb35 bulbs off of amazon 👍
You don’t have stock headlights by any chance lol
I think I do but they were worked on so they are definitely not "stock" hahah. They have quad projectors in them.
What are the ballasts for?
The ballasts are needed to power the HID light bulbs, the bulbs require a power conversion if I'm not mistaken
