The side tricep rule is stupid because ypu moght as well make the same rule for the abs & thighs, when people execute it from the side to hode their bad midsection or lack of V taper

This was an awesome challenge! I was with you on like 90% of your picks. The thing that really stuck out for me was how “soft” Derrick looks in comparison. I know the lighting was bad and we are looking at screenshots but in comparison to the others he was the least impressive to me. I honestly am surprised how many shots I had him last or in the 3rd or 4th spot. And i don’t know about you but was actually trying to give Derrick shots because I just can’t understand how he’s not winning, lol.
Derek is the worst Mr Olympia I've ever seen quite frankly. You are right in your observation. He is so soft across the arms, chest and shoulders with no detail or separation at all. Even his back lat spread looks deformed and out of proportion. It's just absurd to me that he won last year. He wouldn't even be in my top 5.

i wish classic would remove the weight cap so andrew ,sampson and rafeal could compete in classic or both open and classic, i think open has always been about freaky muscle and detail.
The reality is Andrew might win the Olympia . He has that 3D pop to his muscles when he hits a pose . That additional size combined with his height makes him appear so much bigger. Then his optics just have that effect where eyes get drawn to him. I see Andrew in the top 2 . Minimum

Samson does have the mass in the lower body, absolutely. I think the pictures weren't as high quality for his comparison as well and that drew my eyes away from him a bit. All fair points, sir. Thanks for the comment!
on this lineup i think its Hadi,nick, dereck, sampson ,andrew. my pick would be hunter pushing out andrew just because of lack of thinkness from the side by andrew, hard to say this outloud that Andrew needs more size lol.. martin ,brandon ,rafeal ,bonac. assuming no krizo, wilkin is a possible top 10 replacing bonac. tonio may sneak in also. these guys are all great! especially when it comes to diet i could never do their diets.

@@EPzeronineBodyBuilding i would pick andrew 1st by himself, you can get away with shape ,conditioning but at this level you cant get away with lack of muscle they all have flaws i think hunter has the fewest flaws if he doesnt turn to a water buffalo but he is complete.(less tiny pec tare). i think in the judges eyes they start andrew at 4th to start for lack of muscle just like nick starts at 3rd because of his shape but his muscle can move him up in this muscle show, start with hadi and dereck and see if they drop back or someone moves up. sampson, the minute he has no straited glutes is out of top three"sad" if that happens. hadi is winning if they dont mind them shakey delts if they choose to see them. then its, does derek have conditioning from the front, i think its a nick vs hadi show. and i dont think derek should have won last year but his size looks amazing until he draws down, maybe this year he keeps those quads. im no expert for certain lol just impressed with people that can do what i think is crazy and be sucessful.

Hadi’s small forearms and calves ruin his physique. It will be a seismic shift in bodybuilding if Andrew and Samson take 1 and 2 at Mr. O. The sizing is accurate. Derek and Hadi are a short man's show. Bodybuilding will stay niche and small if it stays a short man’s show. We need Aesthetics over med-school cadaver conditioning. Great analysis!
